NO dis to anyone. It is challenging to put on a rec game let alone a Big OP! I think there in lies the problem. Everyone that has played more than 2-6 OPs knows this should of been called a REC Game and price like a REC game $15.00 with mac and cheese.... I spent $74.00 between two admissions and 2 bags of .25's. I got up and 6am hit the road by 7:15, arrived at about 9:35-9:45am Paid, Loaded up Chronoed ( On a misreading Chrono = Hot guns!!! Mislabeled) NOT GOOD! Then stand around for several hours waiting. The the hike before the game ( didn't make it the whole way. Went back and waited some more. about 1:00PM we kinda started went out to the woods and setup and waited 15-20 more minutes before I here the saw let loose and guy's starting to move in to the woods. The game was fun. Hell shooting at other shooting at you is always fun! But then after about 45-50 minutes the Cubans were mostly all at the barn reloading and re spawning. We all sat in the woods wondering and waiting for the enemy. finally I checked in with Monk and ask where is everybody? Back at the cars reloading. Most of the team is here and you should come back too. I did reloaded and went back in. 1/2 hr later Doc calls Game over and we go to lunch. We eat wait and I along with Crazyman stayed behind. Some what disappointed that we had made the trip and spent the money on a rec game..... NOT A Big OP! We decided Last minute to make it out 306 miles round trip. We left at 4:44 Stop by Mc Donalds on the way out of town. Got home little after 7:00Pm. We all played the 1st game Monk and Redgunn went out for the 2nd after lunch. after about a 1/2 hour maybe an hour they both are back and ready to go. I have never since we have be playing airsoft, had those two ask to leave. I'm Just being honesty Brandon. It might be my fault Monk didn't say anything when you asked him at the event. He likes you and thinks your a great guy and a great sniper, hell you helped him in the past. Plus I don't think Monk, really blamed YOU for the whole deal, and didn't want to hurt your feelings. I tell my guy's on the RATS "There is no 'I' in TEAM!" Keep your Head UP Man! Chaseman

Okay I guess, Better Yet I know it is my turn to post on this, and to be honest I dont care what you think or say after this.
1. I am 110% behind Mirage and Team RAGE on this event. We had made it clear several times to all that this was a undeveloped field and it was the first op hosted out here. As of this time plans are in place to get the place 100% better for the next op on this field and there will be pics posted.
As for the late start. Like several others have stated there where quite a lot of players showing up late. I have never been to a op that has ever started on time. Oakey was handleing a line a mile long on the chronograph, Mosin was trying to get every one upfront to registar and pay so we could get thing mocving as quick as they could. On top of having players come up and talk to every one at the front. As for the paperwork, I dont know how many times it was posted to make usre to have your waviers printed out and signed before you come out to the event. That lead to a lot of DT as well or delays. Also as of this time there are plans in place to correct these issues. MOA is going to buying another chronograph and so on to help move things a little quicker.
As for the Meals... I will defend this one to the hilt. I think you all that have come to events at the old MOA field got spoiled. You are used to the food being right there and piping hot out of the oven to you, but this time the food had to be trucked in from about 20 minutes out to the field. Yes there was to meals planned for this event and there was 2 meals served for this event as well. There are plans to make this process smoother, but the chefs on this worked their asses off to get this out to you guys. I take offense to this personaly.
Port-a-Johns.... This is alreayd taken care of. Thank you Sky for point this out. As with the weather and such before this op and me having a Kidney stone the weekend prior to the op, I was not able to get out there to build it. It will be built for the next op and we will have there for all ops.
Monk - We dont care of you are going to fly off the handle in front of us or come out looking like a asshole. We have all done it. Just come out and say what is on your mind, not wait till you get behind the keyboard... No bad blood man just letting you know. I always try to listen to what people are hainvg problems with, so we can correct them right there on the spot.
Chaseman - I did not call a game over. I was up there the whole time getting things ready for lunch. Check your facts man before you through some ones name out there. Again there are a lot of things being corrected after this op. Again I am sorry for your Loss of play time, But this is going to be fixed.
As for the Road thing. Again there are going to be boundry lines put up here in the next couple of weeks all along the field on the road edges to players will know where it is. This was a confusing aspect for all.
As for pricing with or with out food: Full game & food: $25 Full game no food: $15 Half day W/ one meal: $15 Half day no food: $10
We/MOA will be sure to post this on the first thread of every op.
RAGE and MOA realy do thank you for point out the stuff that does need to be worked on, on this field. In doing so you will see a lot more organization in the next op, and they way things are going to be ran from here on out.
Lakeshore - I will talk to you guys on your forums. You guys didnt even say goodbye and there are a few things I want to discuss with you all.
End of Transmission

Sorry Doc, thought it was you. In fact we all thought it was you. the reason is we where tracking thegroup that called the game before we could get to a shooting point. Chaseman does admit the eye's are a little fuzzy, I am getting new glasses this week. If it helps my case I do know the where in On the enemy side.I have nothing else to say

My comments:
Yeah, make sure the road boundaries are crystal clear. RIGHT AFTER we told people not to walk along the road, before the second game, I saw four-five people in woodland outside of the fence, doing exactly what we had just said not to! Hell, I would recommend putting a wall there to keep the idiots out of sight, but I don't know about how practical that would be.
As for Lakeshore Airsoft: I couldn't help but overhear your conversation when I was packing my stuff up to leave, and I have this to say in regards to the bb's. Sure, you can get 5000 bb's at Meijer for $10, but the G&G stuff that Doc sells is of a higher grade - $12 for 3000 is entirely reasonable, I don't see it as something to complain about.
The field's cool, though the thorns I could do without.

I'm uploading maximum resolution images (for photobucket at least). It's taking a little longer than expected. Pictures should be up shortly. For actual full res pictures send me a PM.
I see you took my advise on the food thing, I think it should clear up any problems with the food.
I'de like to say to anyone who may be angry at people who are complaining/dissing. I don't really think anyone is complaining here. I think everyone is trying to help with constructive criticism. Certain comments may sound harsh but after this thread is all said and done, the next OP will be significantly improved because of the "complaining/dissing". So to anyone that may take offense to something that's been said. I'de ask you to take a step back and see it as someone just trying to help the next OP.

I think this is all being blown out of proportion.
The OP did not go well. It happens. We have your input, and are taking it seriously, please, stop dragging this out. If you have something else to say about it, please PM it to Mirage.
*He* ran the event by the way, not RAGE. Regardless of what was stated in the thread, it was his OP. And we know now in the future that we will have more than 1 person who knows what is going on, for it will make things go smoother. It was a learning experience, and the first real flop that Mirage has had while hosting. The rest of team RAGE simply helped out by being field ref's. And serving food, helping with gun problems (I spent half the day doing this), chronoing, signing people in... running an OP of almost 100 is not easy, add to that a new field and well, people simply not listening during briefings. (seriously, people need to listen to rules, they do not need to be repeated multiple times, it takes away from the game play of everyone and makes there be more down time when people don't listen).
In closing, relax. So you spend $10 more than you would have liked to. We're sorry. We cannot change what has happened, but we can, and will change what will happen in the future. We appreciate your input, but before this gets out of hand, please. Just take a deep breath, and relax.
I know, it's me saying this, and likely it will be ignored, but I'm trying to be the bigger man here and not flame people or anything, so please, join me, and crack open a beer (if you're old enough) or a pop, and remember the fun you did have at the OP. I know that at least everyone did enjoy some part of it.

First off I would like to say that I, and we at Lakeshore have the utmost respect for Op-Doc and Team Rage, and this is the part I hate the most about an event gone bad, all the finger pointing and name calling on these forums afterwards..... I did not plan on posting, I was going to sent a PM to Doc out of respect, but since everyone wants to drag Lakeshore into it then here we go..... First off I would like to say that if everyone is bitching about the event you should just except that it sucked and try to do better next time, but instead you choose to argue and point fingers..... I can tell you that now that you have chosen to bring up the name lakeshore we will probably not be attending another one of your games. You can say you don't care but remember we made up 25 of your 93 players.... Wow thats a lot of money! We (Lakeshore) drove three hours each way to Op-Doc's old field on March 2nd and helped him tear down the entire field so that he could have the new one ready for this event (I must point out that Lakeshore were the only players that showed up to help).... We thought that this would mean that there would be some structures on the field but that wasn't the case, if we wanted to play in the bare woods we could have done it on one of our own fields (we have 4)....... As far as the guy on the road goes, there was a guy prone in the ditch on the paved road that we drove in on.... If this is not against the rules then I think you guys are crazy, if a cop were to drive by we would all be in for a rough day.... enough said. As far as the food goes, well I personally didn't mind the Mac and cheese, I love Doc's mom and I have a lot of respect for her, some of the guys on my team did complain but I have no control over my team-mates opinions but I would like to thank Doc's mom for taking care of us once again.... We planned on staying for the chili but this event was a waste of time and we wanted to get an early start on our three hour drive home. If you plan on throwing events you need to spend more time running the event, you need safety officials and you need someone who is in charge, I spent the whole day thinking that Doc was running the event and it turns out he wasn't even the host? I'm sure that someone from lakeshore did something wrong that you guys will be more than happy to point out and that is fine, many of the guys we brought are noobs and it is to be expected. But no matter what a few players did or said, the fact is that this event was a complete failure, unless your only goal was to make a lot of very easy money. I'm not trying to trash you guys or make enemys, but sitting on here and pointing fingers at all of the people who just gave you their hard earned money is ludicrous, learn from this and move on... Also I must mention the bathroom accommodations. If you plan on holding more events you MUST get some porta-potty's. There where like 3-4 females at this event. The toilet wasn't even bolted to the floor! Lakeshore doesn't even host events and we have porta-pottys on our field! Lakeshore (Mrs. Kojak) has around 120 pictures from this event, she would have more but there wasn't much action throughout the day (we usually get more than this at our weekly Sunday games at our field), if you would like to see them we will be posting them on our forums in the photo gallery tonight, if you plan on joining the forums please be sure to read our forum regs first, and fill out the entire profile. Go to www.Lakeshoreairsoft.com and click on the link for the forums. I'm sure my honesty will get me into trouble on here but everything I said was the truth. Like I said previously I hate all of the B/S that follows an event gone bad. So I will say enough said. Thanks for having us and I wish it could have gone better. ~ Kojak ~

Thanks Psy for bringing this to forefront. MOA does carry a higher quality of bb then Wal-Mart or any other store. As for the price of them they should be sold for more but I try to keep the price down for all players for bb's and such.

Ok everyone has had their chance to piss and moan about the event. Now its my turn, and i am going to make this as simple as possible. 1} a couple weeks back we helped op-doc tear down his old field and a couple guys said to him while i was there " i am going to take off to go work on the other field". So my question is, what work did they do on the field? 2} I did not have a problem eating mac and cheese, at least its food. 3} I and many other people were under the impression that op-doc was the one holding the event cause he was the one who posted it and talked about it. 4} people on the SAS/Government team never called their hits. At least none of the people i was watching. So why should members of lakeshore. 5} I believe when I spend $55.00 to play at an event, I would like to see an event. I waited all day in the woods for nothing. I use tactics, because I am not RAMBO.. {LAST} As for Op-doc, I did not say goodbye because I did not want to bug him. whenever i talked with him during the day he seemed as if he just wanted me to walk away from him, and i bought ammo from him. I will not kiss someones ass for business. if you want my business, you had better be professional. I am not mad at op-doc, he just lost some of my respect for him. also i thought airsoft was a hobbie/game, but to everyone i seen at this event it was all about the money and not about the fun. { TO ALL THE MEMBERS OF LAKESHORE AIRSOFT} I know when we arrived we had high hopes for this event because of all the hype and the weather was great. But when our day was done we all went home with our heads down in disappointment, for that,, I AM SORRY.

also as for the bb's, i have been running the crosman bb's in my gun since day one without a problem. but the ones i bought from doc kept getting jammed in my gun. not to mention i did load bb's into my pistol and one was so big it would not even fit into the top of the mag. so for the person who said higher grade bb's, i am sorry but they sure didnt seem like higher grade to me. I am sorry doc this is not an attack on you.

Sorry if it seamed that way but I wasnt. As for the bb's I am sorry if you get a deformed one in your gun. I have never had a problem with the ones I buy and run them myself. As for you kissing my ass for business, again something you and I will talk about off line not here. Trust me I wont kiss your and I dont expect you to kiss mine. As for building structures out there on the field. I had plans on doing such the following weekend, but I spend all that saturday in the hopsital with a kidney stone. Sorry I did not get out there after the sever pain I was in... If you dont believe me just as CJ. I know I have taken a lot of what has been said here on this thread and I will be using it to make sure that OpRT2 does not have the same short falls.

I am sorry doc this is not an attack on you. This is not an acceptable posting style. Use capitalization, punctuation, and proper sentence structure, or keep your thoughts to youself. This is your first warning. Don't double post, either. Use the edit key. people on the SAS/Government team never called their hits. At least none of the people i was watching. So why should members of lakeshore. This is an honor sport. Attend to your own, and alert a game official if you have concerns about someone else's. If we all try to be as bad as we think the people on the other side are, eventually we'll all be cheaters. Also, I can see tempers starting to flare here. Everyone, please be sure to keep it civil. Let's not have this turn into a flame war.
