Why would you drive all the way around..Just take the car ferry across lake Michigan.. Cut your travel time and gas expendature in half.

I believe you need to drive out to Grand Rapids. I am not exactly sure where..It's been a long ass time since I was on it, but I know it's there cuz I remember going to Wisconsin to vist family that way many times when I was younger.

hey Osiris and I can probably use his dads truck it can fit 5 comfortably and has a big ass bed. If rage wants to go we can hopefully work something out for that.

Hey guys,
Glad to see some of you will be making the trip. I wasn't sure if our previous events have ever made it to your boards, but I wanted to get the word out on this one.
We have inquirys comming in from as far away as KY, so Im sure attendance will be great.
The event web site will be up soon. Just tayloring a few things 1st. Example, we are re-writing the rules a little bit, but no MAJOR changes. POW rules may be removed, just to simplify, due to the number of players who will be there. We dont want people confused & arguments to break out.
With the website comming, there will be more info there, but I wanted to let you all know that registration will open on Midnight, Feb 23rd. Once the 150 player spots are filled, we will be placing other requests on a waiting list & posting the registered player roster on the site. From that point, players will have 2 weeks to submit payment.
Once payment is recieved, players will be mailed an event patch. That patch must be displayed on the players uniform in some mannor, to act as their "pass" for the event. I dont care if you velcrow it, sew it or attach a coard & tie it on, but it has to be displayed.
In case a registered player does not submit payment, their spot will open to the waiting list players.
Hope to see you all in May.

I want to let all know that I do plan on going to this op. I have already gotten a place to stay. I have already looked in to a rental car like a 15 passenger van for this trip as well.

We would like to add more. As of this time we are looking at just around $100 per player to come for this.

Added note on to doc's post: He would like if you were coming with us to pm him before Feb 15th with your "Yes I'm coming with you" and at least $50 so that when registration (Feb 23rd at Midnight) rolls around he can go ahead and sign us all up at once. We are shooting for Woodland load-outs.

I've heard people that have been and say that it's fairly small for the type of game they're wanting to run. I guess that just increases the intensity of firefights, but tiny overcrowded fields aren't fun. Also, I don't have the freakin' box for my ESS goggles, so I'm not sure what they'd want to do. All the rules seem a bit anal. |
