Call me dumb I guess, but does it say where the event is? I know that it is a new location that no one has played before, but for the life of me I can't find anywhere (without searching every post on here) where the location is, even just the state it is in. I see that the moderator is from New Jersey, but is that the state? Also, a city would help us to know if we can go or not.
thanks

Event is to be held in Hastings Michigan. I apologize for delays and lack of updates on websites. Have had no access to forums or my site server from current location in Iraq. Will try to get some updates on soon if I can't get internet access. Be advised if there are any members interested in helping with some of this please let me know. I currently am the only planner still on project. As one member had to tend to RL issues and the other primary coordinator had a real world injury and won't be on for awhile. Thanks for your time and patience.

Excuse me if I missed it, but why exactly is the cost so much? I understand this is supposed to be a big MilSim event, but for a $75-$95 entrance fee is this basically trying to be Michigan's Irene? If so, awesome, I'd be very interested. But if it's going to just be a romp in the woods, I don't see why it should be so expensive.
Also, what is the field like? I seem to remember seeing 200-300 acres, which is really nice. But it's not like it's just a huge forest, right? What kind of structures are there going to be?
If this is going to be as cool as I think it is, the Hellfish might just have to make an appearance. But getting a few more details before we drop $75-$95 would be nice.

Ill have your registration forms definantly filled out in two weeks. I have to confirm everyone on my team. And a few guys are outta town. So far though,

I may have more coming, incase i recruit more between now and june.
We are still unsure of our team, but we will most likely go with the marines probably.

I second Kiki. We only spent about $100 to go to Northern Wind... A few more details about the facility would be appreciated.

Hello Everyone,
To answer the most recent questions: The site is around 250 acres; variable terrain types including thick/thin woods, brush, two tracks, and small openings. There won't be any large man-made structures on site; though there will be small structures around the playing area. The cost entails a lot of things to include; but not limited to:
Food for all 3 days Insurance Coverage Medical Crews Vehicles Land Usage (Playing & Camping) Bio's & T-shirts for every member Good quantity of raffles Long Range Transportation Arrangements (For Out Of State Players) Props
Entire teams are allowed to register together; though you being on the same faction is based on availability. Slots are on a first come first serve basis.
Currently our server is having issues and the registration area is down, so registrations can be sent to me on here. Again my internet time is limited right now; so it may take awhile to get you the answers you want. I return from Iraq in late October and will be able to commit much more time to answering questions and bringing on large details about the event. Thanks for your time.
