Haha of course. We should make that a standard team move by the way. It could be a lot of fun at SFOD. I'm down for it anytime. If someone who weighs less than 190 with all their gear wants to go up, that would probably be healthier for the guys on the bottom.

I agree with the ref helping. It shouldn't be done in the future if possible. I concur, this was a MUCH better day than the last time. People were calling their hits, there were only a couple times I saw blindfiring, and everyone seemed to have a great time. I DO have a complaint about one of the refs, however. During the Anthrax Island games, while MARPAT/ACU was defending, one of the refs was giving the defending team info on the other team's whereabouts. Even thought this was, in fact, my team, I still don't agree with it. In the future, it should be ensured that the refs stay neutral.

OMG! I can't believe I skipped this game to go to the Michigan-Illinois game (we got raped)... Had I known Michigan would've played so shitty I definitely would've made it to this game. Looked like a blast. You bandwagon fan. Go rain or shine, win or loss! Normally I'd do that, but that wasn't a loss...that was a raping. I mean, yeah I enjoyed going to the game, but I think the No Limits game would've been a better use of my time.

You guys just need to bring around a tactical folding table and assemble it for castle breaching. Don't stress your back, use technology!! ROFL

Had a hell of a time, haven't been out to an event in a couple months so its always good to get some trigger time.
Paintsoft always leads to problems, hopefully as the events keep going on the BS goes out the window. Other than that everything was sweet except I think we flood up A&W too much and take up excess time.

I think it might be a good idea to actually call A&W up when the park opens to warn them, they'll probably call in more help if they had the warning.
P.S. I'm 150lbs AFTER all my gear is on.

Yeah A&W was pretty slow.
If anyone else has any pics of me I would like to get them.
I had a G36c w/ Red dot, olive drab vest, a black baseball cap on backwards and woodland camo. And Scott goggles if that helps more
[edit] and if all else fails and you can see feet I was wearing Converse black shoes
thanks

How about skipping lunch all together? Eat breakfast before you get there. Our time is limited at this park, if we skip lunch that is one more game we could play. Just a thought...

That's a fair suggestion kurt19d. I do feel that sometimes the lunch breaks get too long.
The thing to note though is none of the Hellfish have to be there for a game to get going. If there are enough people during lunch that stay and want to play then by all means start one. All it really takes is for one guy to be loud and stand up on a table and get one going and typically the rest follows. If we have another game there this year I'll stay during lunch and help some people get a game or two going.

For sure, I just say we don't load up at A&W so much and if you have time in the morning pack yourself a lunch. Also, we need to be able to be out rotating on the field more often, because pretty much after every game there are a lot of people who walk back and just sit for 15 minutes until something happens. No one ever likes excessive down time.

I had a blast. There were some problems with some of the kiddies but it was mostly sorted out and led to a great day of play. I'm already itching to play again.
I really want to thank 1stRecon for grabbing those gorgeous shots. Being a photography enthusiast myself it is great to see someone out there getting quality exposures. I started out my airsoft career only taking pictures in the thick of things and I definitely like the work you've posted, man. I think you should post the rest anyway!
I was on the mainland when that pyramid 203 attack happened but I'm down for doing that if my fellow Hellfish require it of me. Just so long as someone holds my tank of a rifle, it adds significantly to my final loadout weight. I can almost assure you that Element weighs less than me, though.

Hey guys,
There are a few more pictures I'll post, but I just want there to be an understanding of why I don't post everything.
There is a difference between a photographer and a guy out there taking snap shots. A photographer posts what he feels represents his work, a snap shot guy takes pictures for the scrap book.
Trust me, I know the feeling of wanting to get a good picture of yourself playing a game that you love. Everyone wants that intense combat photo. I've been there, and hell, I'M ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE. I wish I had a great shot of me playing.
The fact is that I just don't post things so someone can say "I see my boonie hat behind that spool". I post them in case you were in a good one, and I also post them so that teams, and publications see that I do good work. A great photographer will never show you his bad negatives.
If you want a shot of you, hit me up at the next event that I'm at, and I'll be more than happy to follow you, or be embedded with your team.

No one ever likes excessive down time. We could have squeezed in another game had we started at 10:30 too...load your mags the night before. I know it's no A&W, but couldn't we all pitch in some time during to day to get something delivered to us (easiest would be pizza, obviously)? EDIT 1strecon that makes total sense. If someone didn't get a picture then it's their fault...plus sacrificing the crappy shots for those amazing ones you posted is hardly an unfair price.
