Well theirs a lot of risk taking pics during combat. I for one dont want to take pics in the middle of a fire fight and risk my 300 dollar camera getting shot.

No, it was the right leaf. I looked up on line to make sure that it actually was and it looked almost identical to the picture. I don't know why but I just don't break out when it touches me. From what I know, when most people are touched by poison ivy, it creates an allergic reaction. As you all know everyones body is different and some people are allergic to some things that others are not. Also, if someone is allergic to something, it may not be as severe as it would be for another person (if someone is allergic to bees and they get stung, some people get a large bump or rash, and some can even die). So this would mean that there are some people that are allergic to poison ivy (most of the population... actually approximately 85%) and some people that are not affected at all. I myself have not been harmed from poison ivy for years and I think this is one of the reasons I did not get any at BD. Who knows... maybe I developed an immunity to the stuff, just like most people can for certain other allergic reactions. But hey even if I'm not immune, all you others are extremely lucky . Sorry to get off topic again...

I took a few combat pictures, you just have to be careful about where you're standing, and clearly denote yourself as not in the fight, whether through one of those high-vis vest thingies (for lack of a better word), through a killrag, etc. There is risk, but it can be mitigated.

Well, I finally got myself a photobucket account. Soooooo, heres the only pic I took from Blood Dynasty. I'm pretty sure it was a sniper that got me, but I have no idea how far away they were.

Longest event thread ever? This could possibly be the record. I'm still fighting off my Ivy, right arm has two long patches that just wont go away, left has a few spots that are being rediculous. Calamine and some 30 dollar crap from Walgreens are not fixing the problem as fast as I'd like Now the record for longest Ivy rash ever, I may have that one.

Ya! still fighting the ivy battle too Jump! It's finally starting to dry up and heal but boy is it ugly!! Left arm from wrist to bicep and several spots on the right forearm. The rest are almost healed but that stuff on my left arm was really bad! I heard something on the radio last week that this is some new kind of stuff that is the worst ever seen.I tried the Walgreens brand of salve/paste that had the same ingredients as the $39.95 brand name only for $22.00 and I'm not sure if it helped or not.By then I was looking like an escapee from a leper colony?? . Now I keep wondering if I got all the oil off my gear so that next op,I'll get it again?? I washed everything down with alcohol and some cleaner I get from work that is made to decontaminate anything that contacts the oil but until time goes by,I'll always wonder?

I would have to say Mirage or Blindshot for that bruise.

Maybe Mirage's L96 could do that. Must have been one hell of a shot. I got off lucky with Mirage's beauty. The damn round scraped the top of my head.

I hope so Jump! I heard somewhere that Isotrophl alcohol will clean it off and I washed my Multicams in the washer, then a bunch of rugs and non-clothing before going back to washing clothes again. I just soaked an old wash cloth in alcohol and wiped all my gear down so I hope it works or I may be an Asshat! I sure as hell only want this stuff once!!
