I'm surprised at the number of you who got poison ivy. A large percentage of my skin was unprotected, and I still did not get it, let alone even see any on the field.

I did see it on the field, but I've developed some immunity to it so I didn't get touched.

WTF? dude i have never been allergic to poison ivy in my entire life(WHen I was younger me and my friends would play in it, and they would all get shitfaced and I would be fine and I would laugh at them) But for some reason I had a breakout yesterday on my ass, and I have a 2" by 1" sqaure itchy/bumby spot, its sucks balls because I will be somewhere important or in public and I will have to itch my ass, and damn its embarassing, sorry if that was way to much info!

Does anyone know the older lady there that was taking pictures pre-game? I was on a few of those pictures and I would really appreciate getting them, if you quick glance look for a person with a woodland ghillie suit (Mirage) and I'm close to that. Thanks to anyone who can help me on that.

Let this be a lesson to all of you idgits who think, "Oh, I'm immune to poison ivy because I've never gotten it." Your body's resistance to urushiol oil (the active irritant in poson ivy) is a cyclic thing and everybody is susceptible to it. How badly you get it depends on a host of factors, including but not limited to your exposure, the temperature, how long you've been in contact with the oil, and the severity of previous outbreaks. If you haven't gotten poison ivy yet, consider yourself lucky. For those of us who were crawling through the giggly-weeds one the hill overlooking the village, the poison ivy was very thick in places. At one point I was lying down in a small depression as pellets whizzed over my head. As I dropped my head and tried to get as small as I could, I noticed that my right arm was lying directly on several poison ivy plants. Worse still, I had my sleeves rolled up. "Aw, crap." I thought that I had dodged a bullet because a week passed and I had no outbreak. But by last Friday I had spots on both arms that were broken out. I've played in areas that had really thick poison ivy and not gotten it, largely because i stayed on my feet and was careful to wash my hands immediately after the game and immediately after handling my dirty clothes. I've also played in areas that had very little poison ivy but got it pretty extensively because I was lying on the ground the whole time.
