Which I've been telling you i haven't over and over again. That's why i didn't engage those little kids. Because i watched them walk from over there. Making them NOT in, and making them have to go back to re spawn. After you all walked by i just walked behind you all than ran the last 3 steps toward you and another player. And bang killed you, Not really our fault then if the little kids were the ones that said that's were i came from. Ok then. I have no reason not to believe you either. Lets just put this behind us and forget about this shit then.

So that's what really happened. Everyone on Coalition was wondering why you guys were just standing around, not leaving spawn. We took up defensive positions around spawn and were not trying to hit into that area, although I heard when we did.
So both teams got shot up in spawn that day.
I think a small static force starting in the city, like a militia team with a "roving respawn" and longer respawn timer that can only defend their respawn area, would be a good option for a future op. Making it so that you have to fight a small force in order to get into the city, and do not know exactly where they are going to spawn next.

I agree with Arc on the "free reign" issue that Blackwater had. It definitely did not help the game progress and making it anymore enjoyable. But, live and learn I suppose.
Pretty much any Op turns out the same way. Some super elaborate movie or video game minded scenario is made and it becomes way too complicated and never turns out like the event holder had in mind. We have to remember that we cannot cover 1/2 mile out at SFOD as quick as we do in COD4. There is absolutely no way 80+ guys can carry out a detailed game like that (with the airstrikes, blackwater switching teams, etc.) WITHOUT RADIO COMMUNICATION. I couldn't believe how many guys didn't have radios and were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. It wouldn't be so bad if everyone without a radio stuck together and moved through the field as one large random fire team, but it definitely doesn't work when those players are scattered throughout and end up shooting their teammates and causing more havoc.
But, any day of airsoft is still fun regardless of what happens. (Except when you get a pair of sweaty torn boxers shoved over your head on put on your neck....ROFL *cough* Crazy *cough*)

That's a pretty fucked up situation right there, and I'll be the first to admit, I'm a hot headed fucker and I don't know if I would have handled that lightly, so big props to the level headed guys. If some random douche was screaming bullshit at me and unloaded a pistol point blank, game's off and I guarantee someone has a good chance of losing some teeth and I'm guessing it's going to be the trigger man. It's a game, be fucking courteous. Nobody on the field should want to intentionally hurt someone, so whoever it was might want to think about that before they pull that shit with someone as hot headed as myself or a few of my team mates. It is a game, but if you piss off the wrong dude in a testosterone rich enviornment, you might just get fucked up so let's use common sense and stop the stupidity. Minimize the drama and if you want to be a hardcore asshole, join the real shit and go to the sandbox. And, CQBR... Fuck you... Actionman will pay for that and he knows it. ;D

Action Man was asking around if you did anything to his car. See Crazy, you didn't even do anything and you already struck fear into his heart...I have nothing else to say. Thats some serious street cred you have

One of the major problems is that most of the players were uninformed about the objectives. Playing most of the day, I was informed that the victory condition was based on gold count, and I know many other players thought the same thing. Then all of a sudden we're supposed to be retrieving a downed satalite. One of our squads were actually taking a breather and sitting on the satalite with no idea what it is. These games could go much more smoothly if they were made simpler. ie, 2 teams, 1 objective at a time. The "tactical asset" system was pretty cool, but im not sure blackwater really needed their own team account and the ability to call in strikes.
Oh and crazy, did I remind you how much I love and cherish our friendship?

Well I heard from the guy who did the shooting and as he explained it to me it seems that I may have missed another part of the story.
Here's a quote:
"My actions were all sanctioned by the team leader and U.N. 2 minutes later in a conversation next to the building. As for my "behavior". You obviously didn't hear me telling the affected personnel about the role play and even going so far as to say , "I love you guys" after that engagement."
I was right next to the two who got shot but I was talking with our CO when it all happened. Maybe it was rollplaying and I was just too oblivious to know the difference but I wouldn't mind hearing from the other two guys in the "situation" to get their take on it.

I was the first to get shot, near point blank. (Didn't bother me, Plate Carrier helped). But it was really quite confusing for a moment. I knew I was knife killed, but when going top the MASH unit to spawn (in the building behind me) I went to bang kill who I could, and a BW member flipped out on me, saying he didn't care about the MASH unit and that the building was armed with a bomb and were are all dead, as well as picking up the barrel (MASH unit) and throwing it.
Acting or not, it was out of line.
Other than that one time, it feel it went a lot better then GR2 and enjoyed the last game I played Saturday, defending the bomb maker, nothing better than siting watching a door with 3 pistols and a SAW pointed at it.
Also, good talking to Crazy, Tex, Sky, and M.S.-ARC.
