I think that the narrow tall grass field needed to be utilized more. Besides that, it was an amazing day of airsoft.

Great rec game!
Thanks for running things Knief. It was also great to see a bunch of new faces. Initially we thought we might have to run a n00b only game to get people acquainted to MIA rules since there were so many first timers but it wasn't necessary at all. The new guys conducted themselves like vets. That was probably the largest turn out for airsoft at no-limits to date and we're looking forward to setting up another rec game sometime soon.
Oh by the way I finally got knife killed for the first time. Now I understand what it feels like to be on the receiving end of one after dishing out a few in CQB. I'll get you next time conscript.
Also the owner mentioned to some of us that he was looking for any suggestions you guys might have to improve the field. There's a huge space between Anthrax Island and that "village" area and he wants to build something there that will especially suite us so if you have ideas fire away and post them here and we'll try to make it happen. Hope to see everyone there at the next rec game.

Thanks for a great first day of real airsoft, guys. Knief, you did a great job of organizing all the games today, we got a ton of play time in without too much sitting around waiting. The only thing I could ask for is some more time with my Desert Eagle on Anthrax Island, I could've done that all day. ;D
I think it would be awesome to see a maze type setup on that open field with separate rooms and hallways for some cqb-style play. Then we'd have pretty much every type of environment for any type of play at the same place. Having an old stripped down car to use as cover would be pretty sick, too.

I thought it was awesome! I haven't been out airsofting in a while, and this was definitely worth the drive and everything. Thanks again to actionman for letting me borrow a battery when mine died 150 rounds into the first game... (go figure how that happened)
I liked the first field we played on the best. That was a lot of fun, and it was relatively big, or at least bigger than the other ones.
In the end, I will definitely be out for the next No Limits game.
P.S.- Did anybody take pictures? I didn't see anybody with a camera, but with the way my goggles were fogging I wasn't seeing a whole lot anyways...

That was easily the biggest Rec game I have ever been to, ever. Thats not to say it was bad, because it was one of the better games I have been to this year. I would agree with putting up a Shoot House in between the Island and the Village, that place needs some fast(er) paced CQB style of play. And Dahm, Article 16 of the "Rules For Michigan Airsofters" states that: • “Knife kill”. If an opponent player is within arms reach a “knife kill” should be used to eliminate the player. This involves touching, not hitting, the player with a hand and declaring a knife “kill”. No “real steel” knife or sharp instrument should be used to institute a knife “kill”, but replica rubber knives/bayonets are permitted. Please use great care when using such items. So, I had you. Call it next time, ya newb.

For my first time, I had a blast. The first field was by far, my favorite to play on. I had a lot of fun during the objective mission, where we had to destroy and defend the mortars, and I'm sure everyone else did as well. Looking forward to coming back to No Limits.
What's everyone's mosquito bite count? When I got home to shower, I counted at least 16.

Thats a d-bag move right there. It was obvious there was a ton of confusion between me and my teammate next to me about what you were doing sort of walking toward us when no one else was around. Technically it may have been a kill, okay, but in the spirit of the game, as Knief ruled, it wasn't really clean. Doesn't matter though. We got out via bb anyways. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good game overall. Shit ton of bugs out there. I counted 63 bites... I usually am the one to get raped by the bugs. Strange I didnt feel most of them though. When I took my shirt off to get in the shower, I stepped in front of the mirror and did a double take. I was quite surprised. I had no idea that No Limits would be so airsoft-friendly. The fields, though small, still had a lot of the same advantages and disadvantages of an airsoft field. I would definitely show up out there again. As for suggestions... - No AEG's in a pistol and shotgun only game - Install a mute button on the speedball field so I dont hear paintball guns ramping up all day (just kidding.. but really) Yeah no hardcore rules suggestions or anything like that, it all went smooth and fine. I loved the C4 games by the way. Those were my favorite.

It was a very good game out there. I loved the game play on Anthrax Island, that was my favorite, especially when they it was pistol and shotgun only. I had a ton of fun

This was a fun event, even for a first-timer like me. The Urban Assault field with the mortars was a fun objective for all-out war tactics practice with the unlimited respawns. Who here actually thought that in those final two minutes the tan team would have had a successful bomb rush?
As for the Island, It was a handgun and shotgun only game that went by in about ten minutes. I can't help but think of that guy who decided to ford the river in leg-deep water! Fun time, looking forward to another game soon.

I think that maybe this one should involve trenches and barricades, bunker-busting, etc. I haven't seen too many places with trenches, although I did see some fortified islands/houses there. I drew out a basic plan, I'll have it up soon (hopefully).

Great day! My guys and I had a great time. Much better turnout than the couple of games there last year. Everyone played clean for the most part. I did not encounter anybody not calling hits. A couple dead men where flapping their lips but that was not too big of a problem. The only downside was the long wait to register. Oh well. We will be at the next one for sure. Thanks Knief and M.S. Arc.

The city of Taylor was swampland less than 100 years ago and we have had flooding problems throughout the city to this day. Remember all those puddles in the woods? Unfortunately that's what those trenches will be for large chunks of the year.

I had a great time yesterday. The games were fun, and went well for the most part. The only issue I find was on the first field. When playing the C4 games, that left side needs to be open, or there needs to be more cover up the middle. Without it, the attacking team gets way to bottle necked. Conscript is right on those trenches, with how wet it was there yesterday, I don't even want to know what trenches would be like.
I'll hopefully be there next game.
