Just wanted to thank those of you who attended our event today for the great game. I'm way too tired to start telling any war stories right now, but be prepared for some good ones tomorrow. I mainly just wanted to make a new thread about the event so that we can all post here instead of spreading it out all over the place. Viking should be getting home pretty soon, so I'm sure he'll stop by and perhaps post some of the pictures he took. I think I did pretty good today, a lot better than at our last event anyway. Mainly because I started using Retraw's patented "Sneaky B-a-s-t-a-r-d" technique. GG!

You sneaky b-a-s-t-a-r-d. You did a lot better this time around, Hadoken, but that was because we all felt sorry for you last skirmish. ;D Or maybe it was your leet Alpenflage!? "Was that Hadoken?" "Nah, that's just a bush." *thunk* "Hadoken IS a bush! Sneaky b-a-s-t-a-r-d!"

i dunno about the PSG....with all the problems that ammo was having with his, i'm pretty much turned off to the weapon... jamming every 10th shot or so...and the hop up didn't seem to be working very well...
i don't think it was an issue with the battery...it looked like the nipple that pushes the BB into the chamber and ejects the puff of air was causing the jam...
i dunno...just doesn't seem worth it to me after all that.
although....Viking can attest to the power of it...I have nothing else to say...that was d-amn funny. ;D
Bigmack
edit: WTF? it modifies 'd-amn'?

Aah, that PSG-1 was a beautiful weapon. It was having trouble the whole day, but when it was shooting right it was a sweet thing to see.
For example: Viking decided it would be fun to pick off a group of us while we were waiting for everyone to get their lazy ass down to the play area. While I was walking I saw a bb zoom right by my head, and thought "Err??" SO I turn towards the top of the hill only to see Viking laying down on the ground, massive PSG-1 aimed right at me. He then squeezed the trigger and I saw the bb leave the barrel of the mighty gun, fly down in a perfect line right into my chest. The whole thing took less than a second I'm sure, but watching that bb sail through the air felt like minutes had gone by.
BEAUTIFUL!
Even with the problems Ammo was having with his gun I'd still like to own one.
Hmmmm, Send me christmas presents!!

The Alpenflage REALLY saved my a$$ a few times. I know of a couple times where I was very close to the enemy team without them even knowing I was there.
I didn't know how well it worked untill I got too hot and took my jacket off. I battled away in my other Alpenflage gear but due to a bad move on my part was shot early into the game. As I was wandering back down to where I left my gear I had to give the area a hard look before I was able to spot my jacket. The colors blended in almost perfectly.
Woohoo Alpenflage!

The Alpenflage REALLY saved my a$$ a few times. I know of a couple times where I was very close to the enemy team without them even knowing I was there. I recall getting lit up from about 20 feet away from you Hado, I have nothing else to say. I think me, ammo, and Bigmack were holding the hill against the rest of you guys. I peeked over the edge and saw Viking go prone, so I popped up to get him, when all of a sudden here comes a burst all over my left side. Only then did I notice Hado so close to me. Sneaky bastige ;D

Minky: That was probably my favorite shot from the whole day. It all played out so well, just like some sort of action movie. So many times I thought you guys up on the hill had spotted me. I was VERY close and every chance I could get I'd let off a quick burst, to my surprise though I don't think I was ever spotted. On more than one occasion I KNOW I must have hit Bigmack, and he would turn towards me, let off a couple shots, then turn back to focus on Viking and Ballista. I don't think he saw me though as none of his shots were even close. I slowly inched my way closer towards the enemy and took cover behind a small tree. I heard the guns firing a lot more so I knew Viking and his team coming from the left were making their move. I moved up even more and saw Minky laying down fire towards Vikings side..had him right in my sights..prapared to fire.. But he dropped back to the ground and was out of my view again, then in a split second I saw him running back off somewhere behind his team. Once again I moved slowly towards the enemy..crawling my way up the hill little by little. And again the sound of enemy fire echoed through the woods. Then out of nowhere Minky pops out of the taller dry grass and starts to shoot down towards Vikings position. I quickly popped up and sprayed his whole upper body with sweet marui .20 goodness. Aah I might not tell it too well, but to me it felt good. Love that AUG though Minky. roaw!

I can't wait for the next skirmish. And also, even though ammo's psg1 was not functioning, I am sure that when he figures out the problem that gun will be great.
