ahh damn, Hado...didn't know i got hit that many times... there were only a few hits that i could feel that i called myself out on...
times like that require the ref in the orange shirt.
someone got me in the right chest, someone hit my right arm, and someone got me in the groin with a kill shot...what a way to go... ;D
that was my favorite skirmish...we few snipers holding the hill against the aggressors. The shots coming from my right...Viking, Ballista, and Newman...mostly impacted the earth in front of me...the BB's weren't getting over the crest of the hill too well... altho...quite a few did zip by my ear...
Ammo held his own pretty damn well in the weeds to my right...and Minky was everywhere with his AUG...front to the crest...back in the trees...prone...all over the top of the hill.
so far as my strategy was concerned....both I and Viking stuck out like sore thumbs...our black uppers cost us any chance we would have had for blending in with our surroundings. originally, i had planned to keep the flag in sight...and unload into whoever had gotten close enough to get it...
but that would have given me less than a second to spot someone rising over the hill...before he could spot me. well...i have a G3SG-1. i have range and full auto capabilty. i went mobile.
i held the center, Ammo was on my right...about 10 yards away...Minky was about 5 yards to my left...
The opposing team started at the bottom of the hill...i'm gonna guess that the hill was 50 foot higher than the starting position...and about 150 feet away. Viking's property is fairly heavily wooded....the trees aren't very big....not big enough for a big guy like me. ...or Viking...or Ballista for that matter.
Newman was probly the only person who got any cover from those damn trees...I have nothing else to say
anyways...i was mobile...run to the lip of the hill...peek over...check for movement...if ya see some...squeese off a nice full auto burst...repeat as necessary...fall back for a few seconds.
i kept looking left for you, Hado...but that damn Alpenflage...gah...Minky kept calling that you were over to our left...but i couldn't see you at all....i'd just squeeze off a dozen rounds or so...hoped i could keep you guys supressed for Minky a little...
i didn't feel any hits til a few minutes into the skirmish...went back...touched the fence...got back in... got out soon after that... knelt down about 10 yards from the crest of the hill...and started reloading mags... just watching you guys tear each other up...
anyways...that my war story...hehe
glad to share it with ya.
