Actually Minky, teachers can and will find a way to fail you if they don't like you. My entire science class was told strait up that he could gradually torpedo our grades if he felt like it, that was last year. This year, I fell asleep in a really boring Myth/Epic Lit lesson and my teacher stopped me on my way to my normal english class and said if I ever fell asleep again he'd fail me. LMAO! You fall asleep in class, then the teacher talks to you about it.... OH NO! Welcome to the real world. For every action there's a reaction.... consequences.... don't they teach you youngsters anything now? ;D As for teachers not liking students... I don't think they draw names from a hat in the teacher's lounge to see who they'll hate for the year. Most of the time a student has to give a teacher a reason not to like them....

Er, that's not funny, that's not even cool. So I fell asleep once, that DOES NOT merit failing the class altogether. I could have lived with a detention, but that's total BS.

In general, teachers are good people. They dedicate their lives to helping people, to helping children. I mean, they can't be that bad. A person wouldn't take up a profession, such as educating, with the intentions of hurting people and limiting their knowledge. But then again, there are exceptions. Some of them have totally lost the great ideal of helping kids, and have became cruel people.
