Michigan Recon Airsoft Group will be hosting weekly games every Saturday and Sunday starting on the 7th of October.

MI-RAG (Michigan Recon Airsoft Group) Will be hosting weekly games starting on the 7th of October.

The cost of this is 5.00 per player. All players under 18 need to sign a waiver which can be gotten form our website @

all players under the age of 16 are incouraged to have a parent with them to play.

Start time will be at 10am till 7pm with a break for chow which will ab around 2pm. we will have pizza and soda on site. There is the possiblity of a night game on the 7th starting at 730pm

We will also have Rental AEGS on had they will be UTG Mp5's and AK-47's. The rental package will cost 35.00, this will include the following: Mask, 2000rds, 1 AEG, 2HiCap Mags, and a charged batt. ready to go and have fun.

This will be our first major opening to all hands.

This is around a 20-25min drive from kalamazoo, 10 min drive from PawPaw, and a 45 min drive from Battle Creek.

We do incourage SAFETY and fun. this will be mixed skill level.

wait so anyone under 16 should have a parent there?

for the under 16 the parent or gardian will need to sign the waiver, it is highly recomended that a parent come and play with the under 16 but it is not a mando thing

i am 15 on the team and i am not treated special if i were you i would go to our site, print out the waiver, and have a parent/gardian sign then so you dont have to have some one there. Also your parents dont have to its just a thing they might enjoy we acually have a father and son on the team together.

I'm looking at the website for this weekly event. I'm from the Detroit area and I don't know where this place is located. Could someone please post an address on the www.cra-eastcoastairsoft.com/MIECA.html website?

Also, looking at the rules. I'm curious, the rules state "The minimum engagement distance is 20ft for guns shooting up to 420fps and 50ft for sniper rifles shooting 550fps." Does this mean all CQB is limited to 20ft? Or does the MIA rules apply here?

And for snipers "Bolt action snipers rifles will be set to a field max of 550 FPS, using .25 BB’s." Can we say HOT? Has anyone considered the joules produced?
550fps w/ .25bb = 3.51J
550fps w/ .20bb =2.81J
420fps w/ .20bb =1.64J

Wow what a difference! May I suggest for satefy concerns that a max of 550fps be used with a .20g bb.

I'm only making a suggestion (please no flames), I realize this isn't my event and it's beyond my control. I'd just hate to see someone get hurt with a 3+ joule bb flying at them.
