Yeah, they're on the same side in that they'll both be killing US forces and both want the General delivered out of the country, and a nuke delivered in to the US. I'm not sure if they'll have seperate commanders or not, but they've got a lot to watch out for, with the CIA infiltrators and the like.

Glad to see everyone is excited about the event. Also, about knocking out a craft, I think that we'd have to cross that bridge when we get there, since I really don't think many people have played in a game with a tank of some sort or another. Also, if you are on the US team, I will be sending you an email in the comming week. I will other than that gentlemen, I wish you all well on whatever team you are on I hope that this will be fun for everyone. Also, is there anyone that is a sort of "leader" for you Michigan Guys? Well, I can tell you how we knocked out vehicles in paintball scenario games. Balloons. There would be 6-9 balloons affixed to the vehicle and once all were popped, it had to return to base immediately and it's occupants had to cease fire.

I think that was pretty dumb, since that's going on the rationale that small arms fire (Albeit, a lot of it) will eventually but most certainly knock out a vehicle. For unarmored or lightly armored vehicles (Jeeps, 1/2 ton trucks, the like) I can understand that, but we had a M1 Tank at one of these games and I was able to pop half the ballons in one burst, effectively rendering it to half strength. That's bullshit, IMO.

I'm not sure how'd it work for AirSoft. Maybe it could be that armored, heavy vehicles don't get knocked out unless hit directly by a heavy weapon and smaller, lightly armored vehicles are KO when their passengers are (If open topped) or when within say... 10-15 feet of a heavy weapon. Give the vehicles a time limit for how long they can be engaging hostile forces before they have to return to base. I dunno.

You might want to reconsider the night vision for this event. The kind you will get (cheap) will most likely not have the IR range for seeing anything clearly that is more that 20-30 feet away. Besides that the eye relief on most hand held night vision devices is around 9 millimeters, which is too close when wearing goggles. If you do get some remember to try them out with the goggles on before the game.

i think the 40 dollar deadline was yesterday, now its like 70 maybe i dunno give them an email
yeah i have tried it out and it works for at least 100 feet and the relief is more than tht. i can stand about 6 in away and still see clearly. plus, it has 2.5x and i can return it to work on monday for afull refund, i asked bob about it the other day. so i might have to try it out!!!!!I will have to try and mount it to my helmet though, ir do like somepeople and tape it on my gun.

Heh, yeah, the winter gear has been packed. Wool socks are good, and for us campers, it might not be a bad idea to bring along a space heater. I'm going to buy a second battery in case the first one gets leeched too quickly. I'm not even sure if my Tac Master will be included in this trip, and if it is, it'll probably just be stowed inside my clothing in case I get captured. ;D

Hey Jacko, I guess I don't get to tell about the AT4 at all to anyone. Oh well. Oh, and about shooting me in the face with that thing, it's not like I use my head that much anyways, soooo.... lets go for it , but let's wait for at least the second or third shot before trying it out on my head.

Hopefully, if Jacko and I get there early enough, I can go over some simple military tactics if anyone is interested. I'm Drilling Jacko and our other friend for now, so the three of us should be able to drill several people at once, if anyone is interested.

Oh, anyone going that would happen to have a 30-40mm red dot for sale or that I could borrow/use. I looked at all the sites, and they all seem to be special order. I dont think I have time for special order, since I need to send in a Money Order.
