Yeah I'm excited. It should be a great time. The field is amazing its a lot of fun to play around and will make the video look even sweeter. Also glad to return to the goggle/bala rules. I travel to games out of state as much as I can also, so I know what it entails. (In the past 12 months: Indiana-Wisconsin-Iowa-Missouri). I haven't made it to Michigan, yet, but that is another place I'd like to play. Free Camping is available on Friday-Saturday night, and actually Sunday night for teams/players that travel as far as you guys. There are no open fires per city ordinance, but BBQs are fine. There are teams planning on attending from as far as Minnesota and Kansas that will be camping as well. The night play will be at the town of Bedlam under real street lights, and at Armageddon, the bombed out city under eerie lights... Thanks right. Players that live more than 300 miles away will receive $10 off. If you register before June 1st that'd be a mere $40! for 2-days+night play+big game experience. To recieve the discount you must provide proof of address. Some other things to consider about CT3: 2 Armored Vehicles (Possibly a third) 2 Motorcycles w/ sidecars and Machine guns Night PLay will be in the town of Bedlam and Armageddon -the bombed out city- under real street lights and other ambient lighting. Free Camping Lockers Real bathrooms Asphalt Parking Lot Concessions stand Airsoft Dealers booths w/ AEGs GBBs, BBs, Batts etc. Hotel discounts Hooters Girls coming on Sat. Post-event party Sunday night @ Hooters Joliet (Plan on traveling home Monday!) Casino within 5 miles More cool stuff to come... The safety rules/requirements are on the CODENAME: Thunder website in the forums, a pdf will be available after our webguy wins a battle with our server.

T.E.S.T. will be out there in full force! We had a change in plans, and Enigma was set back a few weeks......
We'll have about 12 of us there I THINK.
JUSTIN: CPX.... Will all fields be in play the whole time, or will Armageddon be for paintballrs during the day???

Well, You won't get to ride that, but it is a lot of fun to have in the game! I don't think we have the city until dawn, but..... lights in the city make it so much nicer at night. Nightgames were hard at otherfields, but at this event there will beshadows, and some lights to blind ya... Won't be perfect, but oh, that is half the fun

So, Am I correct in saying that full paintball masks wont need to be worn, just regular sealed goggles? Is the balaclava required or not?

Has anyone registered for this yet? Do you HAVE to use Paypal? Or is there a credit card only part?

I think I paypal'd him for thunder II. And paypal accepts credit cards.
And no, I don't pre-register untill it's almost up, I don't want to pay now and then find out I can't go and be out 60$... because... you don't get your money back. Trust me.
Early Registration Special- Register before June 1st- $50 per player Pre-registration deadline up to August 1st- $60 per player After August 1st- $75 per player
I'm debating to save 10$ and register, but the thing is, If something comes up, I'm out 50. I think I'd rather wait and pay 10$ and be sure that I'm going.

Drug lords don't usually use them.

I have a question, would a ghillie suit be US? (wood land color) Umm...think about where you will be playing. It's a simulated city, there aren't a lot of running bushes in cities. Our Drill Sergeants always told us that about sticking ferns and whatnot into our helmet bands. Ghillies are great for lying in fields and forests, but as soon as you start running around, all you are doing is increasing your profile. But hey, I'm going rebel, so it should be easier to spot you and shoot you if you go american And, I may be mistaken, there is probably forest/field areas that your suit will rock in, but you'll just be hindered in the city is all.
