I think that is the best picture of DD that I have ever seen.

He either wants someone to pass the B, or is about to have a gigantic sneeze.
Oh yeah, the event was great. Big thanks to Talisman for letting us dirty up his house. I really enjoyed myself even though I barely did anything. ;D

That does look like it's about to be a gigantic nasal explosion. Still an AWESOME pic of DD ;p To I.D. some people from Nighty's pics, starting at the top...
Rogue1 leaning against tree, Livoniairsoft sitting in background, Talisman crouching looking away from camera, Talon sitting cross-legged.
second pic, Pathfinder talking with his hands while someone looks on, dont know who ;p
Third, Snip walking around looking for a teammate to shoot.
4, ICE in reporter garb with Jacko behind him.
5, Wookie with Major Pain
6, Talon making a grab for snip's.... equipment...
7/8/9 i have no idea sorry guys ;p
10, Me, DevilDog, and someone else walking back to setup area
11, Bigmack in foreground and Motown in background
12, Twitch with back to camera and Major Pain facing camera.
13, DevilDog walking towards camera, someone behind him, and Twitch in sun to DD's left.
14, Xaos with, quite possibly, the stupidest look I've ever seen on his face?
15, Rogue1 working in his truck, Not sure who's head is poking out, nor who is leaning back in that pic, can see munin in the background (with camelbak on) most likely talking with his hands =p
same with 16 ;p
Good pics tho nighty hehe.

15 and 16 (third- and second-to-last) got ol' enkidu's rear-side in 'em, on the far right-hand side. The elusive Snoopy is to my immediate left in the 16th pic.
Opinons? Excellent day of airsoft. The field was unlike any I'd played in before. Tall ferns covered almost all of the ground not occupied by trees or cut through by trails. Given a certain set of distractions (I'm lookin' in the direction of Peoples' Commissar Snip[/i]) I was able to worm my way across several hundred yards of open enemy territory during the second scenario. Nothing like popping up out of the dense brush less than 20 meters from your foes, surprising them utterly and subsequently hearing the lamentations of their women teammates. I've still got fern guts wedged in my front sight and web-gear from ill-advised acrobatic headfirst dives into the ground.
Heavyweight BBs and upgraded springs proved their worth out on the field; stock AEGs were simply unable to punch their way through the thick undergrowth. At one point, there was a bit of a standoff wherein a valiant foe and I lay prone not 10 feet from each other, unable to shoot through the ferns or even to see each other through them. Soon enough, though, a teammate with a better gun crawled up and plinked me into submission - between-the-eyes style. Also, commendations to the daring enemy player who dashed out of secure cover during the final scenario into the open to shoot me squarely in the arm (a painful, blistering wound persists even today) only to be shot himself by Hadoken. I believe the dialogue went something like this: DEP: [grunt, rustle, rat-a-tat-a-tat] enki: Hit! HitHitHit! [under breath] shit... [more gunfire] DEP: Hit! Me, too! Hado: [evil cackle]
The weather was warm and sunny but not Ohiohot, and bloodsucking insects made only infrequent forays into my ear canals. Solid play from all participants, as was mentioned. I particularly liked the "embedded journalist" NPC role. Perhaps it's the photographer in me, but I like the idea of being able to document the event with pictures and video. Those of you hoarding JPEGs and MPEGs, get to posting!

Thanks for putting on a great OP. It ran smoothly and ended too soon. I had a great time and hopefully we'll get some action going on in the lower part of the state.

I am currently only able to get on a 28.8 kb internet connection. So I won't be uploading 200 pics anytime soon. I did mail a CD off to tailsman today, so as soon as he gets them, they should be posted. I did however though, (since I am such a generous guy) edit down 5 random pics for your viewing pleasure. Frostee, Snip, Tailsman, and Major. Devil Dog Pathfinder Rogue Talon

All I have to say is: Rogue is a sneaky old man. A very, very sneaky old man. ;D Event had a few snags, but overall went quite well. Very positive attitude from all players despite the hot weather and as other people have already mentioned no cheating whatsoever. Memorable moments... -Sneaky Rogue *me shakes fist* -One of the Socom (correct me if I'm wrong ICE) fellas performing a perfect forward roll into some cover. Left me in awe right before..... -Being executed by our food deprived Commissar Snip. -Frostee's deadly long range head shots. -Munin's ear. -lack of blood sucking insects. Hooray! Thanks for the great pics so far fellas, but I demand mooooorreeeeeee.

Believe me I wasn't so lucky.
While the ferns stopped most of the rounds hurdling my way there was one magical bb that managed to blast through the vegetation and strike my collar bone. I ended up sitting there with my dead-man's rag while Frostee and the gang rescued our comrades from the pit.
Yar!
