I saw a sign there that said its 400 fps on sunday. Is that true? Sent from my SCH-I535 using proboards Yes. We found that out the hard way. Partially the reason why myself and the other 561 guys will never go back unless it's Pagan hosting the game with NO other interference.

I got hit on the knuckles with one of those kids with c02, and I still have a huge welt, never going back.

My middle finger is missing a nice piece of skin and I had gloves on. I have nothing else to say

I got hit on the knuckles with one of those kids with c02, and I still have a huge welt, never going back. I got pretty much the exact same thing. Someone dual wielding GBBs just walked right at me an unloaded. I used to like Eastside, but that night ruined it a bit for me. Not the field, but how it wa running and such.

It gets to me to hear all these negative comments. I've been REALLY wanting to partake in a "zombie" event for some time and it sounded fun. I hate that people can do these kinds of things and NOT see anything wrong with it or not even feel bad about it! Just based on everyone's experiences with this event I probably won't ever attend ANY events there.

The only lesson I got out of it is the fact the some people just don't care if their guns is running to hot to be safe and I will always remember them in future games.

Do you remember if said dual wielder was wearing a pea coat? I don't remember. I think one of the 2 GBBs was an M93r, and they were wearing a full paintball mask. I could be wrong.

Having read this, its disheartening. I've played Eastside quite a bit, and while not as much recently, have been up a few Fridays here and there.
Having played there in the past, I can't defend any of the criticism, as you guys are correct for the most part(s). The field has issues, there is no debating that. FPS chronoing has always been an issue. Having not been there, I assume Pagan was in command of that. However if Sam was circumventing him, then its a shame, but I've seen "exceptions" made in the past that I disagree with. While it may be rumors, speculations and tales from other players, other indoor fields play loose and fast with FPS limits as well sadly.
The age problems sound par for the course, as I've played there multiple times with kids as young as 7-8, and had to tell them to walk off when they wouldn't take hits, or about eyepro and various issues.
As for the shooting into the field between games, that is common at Eastside, I know I've done it myself. My rule of thumb is to never enter an area where replicas are being fired or could be fired without eyepro. Many a time I've walked back out onto that field to find a Thunder B or lost bit of gear, to find bbs whizzing by. I'm not defending the players that did this during the event, but just stating in general my experience on the field.
Really hoped Sam would take this event as a chance to show off the changes hes done and to show the community hes trying to make it a place for people to play, instead of making people not want to return. Sounded like Pagan did a great job as usual, and that is great to hear. Hopefully Sam can take a page from his book for the future.

I did chrono all aegs, and did chrono C02 pistols, but sadly when someone in charge is giving players instructions how to cheat the chrono, it's a serious issue.
I think I turned away 6-7 different aegs and probably just as many pistols.
The actions of the younger players and staff got me to the point where I actually gave up trying to run the games. I can only do so much, and when management takes over and starts doing things how they want to, I'm left no other option.
I won't be running any more open play events at the field, it's not worth my time. I do still have the opportunity to run/host private games, and probably will, because I like the field.

Never doubted you Pagan, I fully believe what happened. I've seen how you've done No limits, and I fully respect you for taking on these roles. Need more hosts like you out there. This doesn't surprise me at all however, as chronoing has never been consistent or present with Sam. I greatly dislike the way hes done it, and wouldn't play there is I had a better alternative in the immediate area. Quite upset to hear him telling people how to bypass the chrono, but again, not surprised.

Didn't think that you did, I just wanted people reading this thread to know if a hot replica was on the field it wasn't because I allowed it. I've wanted to comment so many times through out this thread, but I didn't want to come across like I was being defensive or trying to justify things. What I was asked to do, and what I was allowed to do were two different things. I can at least proudly say that I did everything in my power to make the event go well, and what ended up happening was well out of my control. I think the field has potential, but until the rules are enforced on a consistent basis, and the mentality of some of the regulars ( I saw this when I was working out there as well) is changed, it's not an enjoyable venue. There are locations I refuse to go to because of the very same things, and it's sad. I understand it's a business and you need to somewhat cater to your clientele, but when you put people's safety at risk it's not worth it.
