It didn't hurt. Just loud and bbs went flying, nothing harmful. Sent from my SCH-I535 using proboards Oh, because the way people were saying, it seemed to have killed an elephant.

I guess I'm speaking from my personal experience. I'm still really wondering how the owner still has both of his eyes. Watching that guy walk into fire fights without eyepro and not be hit amazed me.

It freaked me out when I kept watching him go in and out with out protection. Not the best thing to show the kids that were there. Look at the bright side Tank, you now know it can happen and you can plan to avoid it happening again. But after seeing that, I now so want to invest in grenades.

One of my biggest issues last night was the INCREDIBLY bad habit of regulars and employees of shooting into the field area in between games. Squirrel and I had gone in to find the fog machine, we were both almost hit by bbs being shot. Since the field was dead, ( no game in play) I didn't have my goggles on. Just a little time later I had walked the players to the rear of the field to get ready for a game and was shot several times walking back by a player just randomly firing into the playing area before the game even started. Needless to say I was pretty pissed and had a few unpleasant words for that player. The worst part was the owner was standing next to the kid.

I kind of felt the need to wear my goggles in the safety zone. Also I didn't understand the use of propane indoors and smoking. It kinda seemed like a dangerous thing to do. I always thought it was green gas only in doors.

It doesn't make a difference if you use propane or green gas velocity wise. Its the same stuff, propane just doesn't have the lube mixed in. However for the flammability thing, I think it would be interesting to see how much of the gas would have to be let into the room and how hot the cigarette cinders would have to be to get an ignition.

Better to be safe than sorry on the gas thing. I would like to ask for those here that were at the game that saw me play how I did since I have only played airsoft three times and the last time I played was over 2 years ago due to my bad knee. I am trying to improve to be more useful to those who need back up. I was the big short guy in all black with the reversed black ball cap, using a full size AR.

I know propane and green gas velocity doesn't differentiate, I was more talking about the flammability.

Even if you had an open flame I wouldn't be concerned. You would need a lot more fuel in the air to get the necessary ratio for an ignition.
I did the math and you would have to release an entire BBQ grill sized canister for every 400 ft^2 given a 16ft ceiling in order to attain the 2% mixture required for propane to combust. So every 20'x20' square would need a 20lb tank. This is ignoring the fact that you could get localized concentrations, but it proves that a major explosion is impossible.

Yeah, at the third game of the night, I was standing behind cover and some kid, not sure who, was shooting bbs at the wall next to me! Edit: Also in thee first game, someone outside of the arena shot me.

Yeah, I will never play another game there, unless it is ONLY MiA. The lack of trigger control, the mags in while in the safe zone, the muzzle sweeps, and dry firing in the safe zone just had the hair on the back of my neck standing on end. I've never witnessed such an unsafe environment.

Tdog, I did notice a lot of the younger players trying to ricochet kill people. I don't think they knew that it doesn't count after the bb has struck a surface.

Niether will I, I live 2 hours away and came in choking on smoke, getting shot in the safe zone, and from people outside the arena, will never play there again, hopefully 3.14 will have their private field open in spring.
