Here is a challenge! I have $250! Please build me a good cqb gun that shoots under 350. Thank you all so much in advance! I am not sure what kind of gun I am looking for right now, so all are welcome.

Thank you Dynamo and Knief! I already have a nunchuck battery (small type tamiya), should I invest in a holo or red dot? Would that be helpful in cqb?

bills,
What size cells does it use? The G&G stock won't take sub-C size cells, which many nunchuck packs are made with. It also won't take a 4 cell node with cells longer than 2/3A cells. So pretty much if you've got something other than the pack shown (brand independent, obviously), it probably won't fit. A link to what you've got would help us determine if what you already have will fit.
As for optics, that's going to be a personal preference. I like having a dot, but it's not necessarily going to be faster for everybody. If your budget is limited, you're going to want to buy a set of midcaps and a vest to hold them in before you invest in optics. Getting mags and a method of holding them is a little more fundamental to game play, and gun accessories tend to be secondary--they're toys for funsies. If you've already budgeted for mags and you have a vest, then yeah, get yourself a reddot. Replica EOtechs and Aimpoints are popular, and there are a ton of threads here advising which brands to get.

If you're happy with that pack, then stick with it. But I would replace it with the one I linked. Elite cells are great--they have a great discharge curve and very good run time. Plus, the 9.6v pack will give you a nice ROF boost over the one you already have.

I was not allowed to spend $200 on a gun... so I bought:
1 x AIM Sports Tactical Ergonomic Vertical Grip w/ Pressure Pad Housing (07716 / MT007T) = $15.00 1 x (Free) Airsoft GI Major League T-Shirt (3 Sponsored Special Edition ) (09617) = $0.00 1 x Combat Machine M4-A1 Carbine Airsoft Gun ( Limited-Time Package / Tan ) (07660 / C-16P-CAR-DSTpkg) = $155.00 1 x UTG Red Combat Laser (08100 / SCP-LS268) = $28.95 1 x Echo 1 0.20g 5000bbs 3 Bags Special (P02567) = $35.00
Did I do good?
*Note: Combat Machine will be a build gun.

As far as I'm concerned, you did well. My only personal preference would be switching the UTG laser for a flashlight, but that's just me.

.20g bbs aren't ideal. If you're only playing in CQB games with them, you'll be fine. But if you start playing outdoors, get some .25s. The exrra weight provides you with a more stable flight path and much better accuracy at range. They'll also punch through brush better than the lighter .20s. But again, at close range and inside, using .20s isn't going to hurt you.

Well in that case, you did good! And I can't go tomorrow because I'm doing yard work, and possibly meeting my squad at Phoenix on Saturday.
Knief is also correct on the BBs. For CQB, .20g BBs aren't bad, but you'll need .25g BBs or higher for outdoor play (just reinstating the point). I use .25s for all games though, but might be looking to go to .28s.
And what do you plan on doing with your CM for upgrades?

Well, I already have the foregrip, the laser, and the tac light, I might get a "silencer" and a replica EO Tech sight.
