If you have your heart set on getting a Desert Eagle my personal recomendation is getting the off-brand KWC Desert Eagle. It is an awesome gun, despite the fact that it's bulky as all hell. But mine shoots at around 330 fps and is pretty damn accurate. The hopup is better than I thought it would be, and (as far as I know and have read) all TM parts for their Desert Eagle will work on it IE. the guarder full metal kit. I have had no problems with mine and it still shoots the same as when I bought it. For 120 shipped from a retailer I couldn't pass it up and I am anything but dissapointed with it! BTW I have run it on both propane and green gas, and it shoots just fine on both! Sorry they will not. KWC is a proprietary design, no TM parts will fit. KWC is a base level brand, while the Desert Eagle works, once it breaks it's done, minus finding a broken one that can be repaired or used for repairs it's done.

Triggs,
Though the KWC Desert Eagle is definitely not TM compatible, it is a solid gun. Before TM released their newest version, the KWC was the best Desert Eagle on the market, even compared to the older TMs and the largely failed WA models. It's relatively durable and offers competitive performance. It's not necessarily the best looker, but that's not what KWC guns are about.
The KWC DE isn't a bad choice if you can't afford or can't find the TM model. It'll serve well for a good long time, even more so if you maintain it well.

Triggs I want the desert eagle back. I just sold mine (TM) and I had owned one of the kwc co2 ones. The tm is absolutly amazing. It will reach 100ft with ease. It looks like a real one and has the best kick I have ever felt on an airsoft gun. I never fielded the gun because 1) afraid to drop it and ruin the fit and finish. 2) it was too big for a secondary too small for a primary. It's not a very practical gun in my opinion but still very cool. You should also ask miles and devil about the TM between them they have 4 and 2 of them are the resident evil ones.
If your looking for cheap KWA, KJW. KJW has TM compatible parts while KWA has better performance. Stay far away from bell it will break.

Does KWA make a Desert Eagle? I've never seen one listed, and just ran a quick Google search and nothing came up.

KWA does not make a Desert Eagle.....
I didn't say the KWC was bad, I owned one and was extremely impressed with the build quality, but I've also had a few other KWC pistols and with regular use, they broke extremely quickly. As for the KWC Desert Eagle, it's big, bad, and on CO2 or GG it did well. I prefer the GG as it doesn't have the retarded looking mag bumper holding the CO2 in, but that's a personal preference. It also did quite well on a few test mags of RED GAS so there is something to say about at least temporary durability.
KWA is a solid company, the trademarks look retarded on the new PTP models, but the performance is there. KSC is the one of the best, but harder to find stateside KJW is a midgrade, and at least most of the time TM compatible

Back when I owned a TM DE CHROME Hardkick Edition it was by far one of the nicest GBB's I had ever owned. Great finish on the externals, crisp and powerful blowback and the gun seriously shot further than my bone stock TM P90 TR!
It was just too big for me to skirmish with personally so it just sat in its box for the most part when I owned it.

I like Desert Eagles, but I'm not positively set on buying one. While it is an option, I consider the Desert Eagle more of a model than a performance gun. It's huge size would just make it a bit awkward to handle, especially for a first pistol. I was going for something smaller like (as mentioned before) a P226, 1911, Glock, something of that nature. But you guys almost convinced me(that means good job).

Who knows you may change your mind bout the smaller pistols Might be going to the Zombie Nightmare in November, if I see you(I don't even really know what you look like and stuff ) I'll come talk and maybe try it out. The problem with big pistols is their maneuverability. Their long barrels, however, add to accuracy. I'm not saying that their bad and I don't want one, I just kinda want a "universal" pistol for my first, because like I said, I'm a noob and don't want too much stuff that I might not use that much. I also might want a cheap vest, like a light MOLLE carrier or a Condor(not sure the difference I've seen them together, but that's for a different thread), like I said, not too expensive.

I would highly recommend a TM GBB over just about any other GBB handgun. I've owned many TM GBBs, mostly 1911s, and I've never had a better shooting pistol than my last TM 1911 MEU. It had a harder kick and was more accurate than both my custom money pit Hi-Capa (based on a TM though) and a WA 1911 I owned for a while.
And I've always used propane in my TM GBBs and have never had a problem.

Some TM parts will break with propane, but replacement part is cheap and easy to get. 1911/Hicapa is really only the nozzle thats suspect, and a $20-30 SD nozzle fixes that permanently....TM Glock has one weak frame part that some JB weld can fix.
