Earlyer we were talking about batteries, What is the Best battery? Is it ok for a Classic Army M4 Tactical to use a 7.2 3000mha battery if it had to?

I play outdoors about once a week or everyother week depending on schedule... We are in the Metro-Detroit Area and I dont speak for everyone else in the group but I know we've been discussing looking for an indoors location in the area. Has anyone had any luck with indoor paintball or lazertag places?
Or does anyone in metro detroit have an indoor place to play and want some challengers?

um, i would not reccommend 7.4 batteries for any aeg, they dont have shiat for rate of fire and the single shot itsself slows down to. The rate of fire is very slow. Classic army, being already upgraded, need more power than tokyo marui. I was running a standard 8.4 large battery (1500mah) and no i am running a 9.6 1700mah battery and OMFG!!! the rate of fire is higher than most stock m249's or m60's. I couldnt belive it. It also lasts longer. if using a classic army, i would reccommend a 9.6

How much does the mah matter? More the marrier?

The voltage is the power and the mah is the endurance of the battery. More mah = longer life and the less you have to charge it.

aye... voltage sets how fast your motor turns... the amperage determines how long it turns for.

ce senor, in result, only use 9.6v batteries if youre gears are upgraded. Nylon or plastic gears will be shredded with this much power. Also, the more mah the longer it will run, look at it as viagra for your aeg. so there you have it a simple run down on batteries. also, the more the voltage/mah, the more money your gonna spend.

Derick, if he's ordered his gun in the past 6 years, he doesn't have to worry about getting stuck with nylon or plastic gears... TM and CA have been using pot metal for that ammount of time... the only company i can think of that still uses questionable strength materials in their airsoft replicas is Academy....avoid them like Rosie O'Donnell.

He got it like 5 days ago so he must have metal gears. I'm sure that the TM Mags(High and low cap)will fit his CA M4 Tactical, right?

aye. it will. (with the CA M4's) i've heard everything from tight fitting mag wells to ones that are so loose the mag can fall out if the gun is shaken enough... so hope he gets lucky.

You know, I saw a clamp that went around the MP5 mag well. Is that anything new? I wonder if it works.

If you're hard core about airsoft...you'll play in the winter. Just think: do combat operators stop fighting when the mercury drops below 45? NO.
Because of school, LKA (I mean "Orion Airsoft") can only get together in the summer and during college breaks (ie Thanksgiving and Christmas).
