OPERATION: SAFARI STRIKE!

Overview:
After eluding rebel armies and fleeing to Macara, Makame Ruzuka (son of Antoga's late Pres. Daktari Razuka) has been planning his return to his small central Africa nation to assist in liberating his people from the rebel occupation which assassinated his family and assumed hostile control over the tiny central African nation. Shortly after his arrival in Macara, Razuka was whisked away to the United States where he has since been furnishing the government with information about the Antoga rebels and their ties to terror groups and the central African drug empire.
Since the rebel armies overthrew the Razuka democratic regime, this area has flourished once again as a manufacturing base for heroin and cocaine intended for European, East Asian, and North American markets. It has become a safe haven for central African drug traffickers operating worldwide, and is a major money-laundering center abundant with massive corruption and criminal activity. Most importantly within the past year, distinct links have been made tracing the revenues of this illicit drug trade to the operational funding of known terror groups operating out of parts of central Africa. Intelligence has also established direct ties between members of the Antoga rebel leadership and several know terror suspects believed to be hiding out in the central African nation. Since coming to power, the Antoga rebel authority has severed all ties with the US, along with the rest of the world, thus removing any diplomatic option of resolve. 6 months ago, the country of Antoga was placed on the US watch list as a state sponsor of terror and terrorist operations.
Within the past several months, satellite and unmanned reconnaissance drones have turned over compelling evidence showing the locations of known drug labs and possible terrorist training camps which are under the control and protection of the Antoga rebel authority. A covert US campaign (code named Operation: SAFARI WATCH) has already begun with elements of small unit special forces teams on the ground working along side forces loyal to the ousted Razuka regime. A planned US invasion is imminent and SOCOM has been given the green light to conduct ground level strikes against the Antoga rebels and these locations. The main aim of these assaults will be targeted at destroying and disrupting the Antoga rebel authority and their terror funding drug trade, and bringing suspected terror suspects believed to be hiding out their in to US custody. SOCOM directive 1081.2 has been code named Operation: SAFARI STRIKE!
