ACO & Wetworks Airsoft present:
Operation: Powder Burn
The price has been dropped to $25 and the age limit is now 14 and up. It’s going to be a good time you guys won’t want to miss out on this one. And it’s the last event in the super cool ACO building.
The year is 2007. With this being Bush’s last year in office, his administration is looking to eradicate the terrorist network once and for all. The elections that took place in late January brought in a new hope for freedom among Iraqi citizens, and with that momentum the U.S. was successful in pushing the terrorist out of Iraq, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan. The terrorists have been forced into the old Soviet Union country of Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan’s failing weakened government has been manipulated and given the terrorist more members than ever before. Kazakhstan, being a predominantly Muslim country, has been influenced by the vastly different radical Muslim groups, and recruited more opposition for the U.S. To make matters worse, the terrorist network has now become a nuclear threat not only to the U.S., but to its surrounding neighbors.

When:
Game play is set for April 16th, and the 17th.
April 16th will be scenario based MilSim. April 17th will be CQB Team vs. Team.
If you think you have a good team, then the 17th is the day for you to show off! Go up against other teams head to head for bragging rights of the Midwest.
Game play for the 16th:
9AM-12PM registration. 1PM security briefing, and 2PM game play begins. Game play goes until 7PM, or until the scenario is complete.
Game play for the 17th:
Registration is 9AM to 10AM. 10-10:30AM security briefing. 11AM tournament starts, and goes until the final match is over.
Where:
Lyons/Muir, Michigan. Directions can be found here.
What:
This scenario will incorporate all 160 acres of land and the ACO CQB Facility itself. Pictures of the facility. Be warned: the pictures don't do it justice, the place is HUGE!
Who:
Op: Powder Burn is presented by WetWorks Airsoft Inc and ACO Club LLC. We both would like to make this a yearly event, so your participation is greatly appreciated.
How Much?:
April 16th registration fee is $50 dollars per person.
April 17th registration is $25 dollars per person.
For all attendees who register on-line and pre-pay they will be automatically entered into a raffle to win an AEG. (We’re not saying what kind it is).
All teams who enter to play the CQB event will be entered for a chance to win an AEG. The AEG will be presented to the winning team of the tournament. (Once again, we’re not saying what it is).
Who can attend?:
Any mature, responsible airsoft player 16 years of age and up.
What should I bring?:
Players representing the terrorists must have shemaghs worn in the proper fashion. Your face must be covered at all times.
What are the rules?:
Eye Protection: You MUST have full-sealing eyeware rated to ANSI Z87.1, MIL-V-43511C, or ASTM F 1776-01. No shooting glasses, no Oakley blades, no shop glasses, no exceptions. Period. If you show up to play without ANSI rated, full sealing goggles, you will be given directions to the nearest Meijer or Dunham's store to purchase a set of paintball goggles. Save yourself the time and frustration and come prepared.
Velocity: All replicas, including sniper and support weapons, must have a velocity no greater than 350 FPS (measured with 0.20 gram pellets).
Engagement Limit: None. Close Quarters Battle is just that - close!
Blind Fire: Under NO circumstances will blind fire be tolerated. If you can't see what you're shooting, you have no business pulling the trigger. We understand that CQB necessitates exposing yourself to fire as you move through rooms and hallways, but anyone found to be firing blindly around corners, through doorways, up or down stairways, or over obstacles will be an instant "administrative casualty." Repeat offenders will be asked to leave the facility.
Friendly Identification: Terrorists will be required to wear a shemagh, worn in the proper fashion.
