They've been out for a good few months now. I think Newman had some, so he'd be able to tell you about their quality. The main problem I've heard that people seem to have with them is that you just can't see where the things are going when you shoot. That's a good thing when the enemy can't see where the stream of BBs is coming from, but bad when you might need to adjust your aim and you don't know it because you don't know where your rounds are falling.

yea, that is the major complaint, I mean really!..... to have to actually look thru your scope/sights!! what is this world coming to. We had similar complaints from guys playing the total darkness areas of the indoor CQB games, they couldn't just walk the bb's up to you visually. However, the guys with Tac-Lights thought it was just fine

In daylight you could try using a 3 black bb to 1 white bb ratio and use that white bb as sort of a tracer. But really if you use your sights and have them dialed in all right there shouldn’t be any complaints. Although when its windy it might get a little frustrating sense you cant really correct from your last shot.

Yeah, I don't like them. It's like shooting blind for me.

In the reveiw link above he stated that he uses them as tracers for winter skirmishes black BB's aginst white snow would work well Mike did have a good point can you see real bullets during midflight.... added realism

Really, the quality is ok with these bb's, but for Airsoft, where bb's go about 50 yards (and more, ok ok), the black bb's are just horrible for gaming. Maybe if I used them with my revamped hop-up (Hadoken and Bigmack can testify) the black bb's would be more effective, but seriously, I did NOT have fun playing Airsoft when I had them. Since my gun didn't/doesn't shoot accurately enough, I just adjust my fire according to where the last bb was...except when I had that awesome reddot. That thing just rocked. *me wishes for money to appear*
