M16kid and Bigmack, Our event do usually require 16yrs old. We thought raising it to 18yrs old but we did not want to play with 9 other guys all year long ;D As far as the cost, it will be 15$ (it is written far top left of the event page). I unfortunately if the event page looks floppy (sp), we are actually working on new coding and it should get better in the coming weeks... Bigmack, yep, Tropicos and Kreigers are indeed back, although, you have the UN involved now...which will give you a good twist to all this

Like always, it great to have GK and other MIA players in Ohio for games.
Bigmack, I beleive, but Im not positive, that the UN is sided with us (Kriegers). But, one won't know until the event, and shit can change in a milli-second with a Strikers story line.
I dont know if you guys had a chance to take a look at the page before blade took the story down, but it stated that the Kriegers have a 'special' weapon that could wipe out the Tropicos...... (evil music plays in background)

Like blade said, you guys should be able to make it. I was 15 when I went to Blind Fury back in June (which is still my favorite event), and the limit for that one was 16. So you should all be set. Just make sure that you guys get the waiver filled out and signed by a parent and/or guardian. I beleive that Blade said they are making a new one for 05, so he will announce when its ready. And a word of caution, if you dont want to be completely in the dark, try to talk with some people that attended Blind Fury and the event last November (the name keeps slipping my mind). Blade likes to throw a lot of curve balls and twists into the story line. And how each team ends up at the end of the event will affect the next event in the series. Personally, I think the mans a genious

Stat, Thank for the comment but I am just trying to use my experience so you can get a good time. I guess flying to California or Driving 10 hours to play out of state games can be very valuable some time ;D Also, I would like say that I am not the only one into the Blind Fury serie. A name that you guys should all start to know or remember is Hardlock. Is great knowledge and patience (I usually blame all this on his old age ;D) makes him a great guy when it is time to find what will be good or bad for an event. Without him, the events would not be the same. Furthermore, there is another member on the team that while are not really "involved" in the thinking, are still very present in the event logistical aspect. We can talk about medic cards, special meetings for the differents roles, actors (i.e. russians and/or UN) and even just give their time to be able to help at the chrono station and the waiver sign up. To tell you the truth, an event without my teammate would not be the same. But anyway, while you are talking about twists and rebounce, get ready to be served because in 2005, we are trying real hard to confuse all of you and this is where we will see the great leaders on your teams

M16Kid, you can pay via paypal or certified check (mentionned in the event information page) or you can also pay at the gate.

Exactly why we chose that weekend, so people are on vacation
