im looking at a GB-Tech Vortex Silencer 30 x 178mm ( 14mm- ). will it fit the XM177E2 metal conversion kit?

CW - clockwise CCW - counterclockwise Some Asian retailers use clockwise and anti-clockwise also because counterclockwise doesn't translate right.

well it doesnt say what it is... does anyone know if the XM177E2 metal conversion kit to convert it to just metal is threaded clockwise or counterclockwise?

Mike I allready explained everything up in my post heh. Anway the Vortex is not a supressor it's a flash hider. But yes it will fit as long as it's CW.

Yes you can switch back to the XM flash hider whenever you want.

I have one of those XM "CW" metal flashhiders that has a little bit of foam in it for "silence effect" that I have been trying to get rid of.......$25 and its yours ($30 shipped and taxed)
