Today was great I thought, although the first couple games our TC guys got completely owned because we had a guy saying that those guys on the other side of those trees were freindly's, but really they were not, then they completely surrounded us and destroyed us.
But then the game where we ambushed them worked out pretty well, we got out about half of the team just from that small area, then they pushed through but the guys in "the hole" took care of them eventually.
I would like to see the pictures that some of the guys took, I know one from TC here took a few small videos but it was out of focus, but maybe they can get posted somehow.
But anyways it was great. Thanks to all to organized this one, we all had a blast.

Kudos for the fun factor of this event - great guys - great times - no major player outburst which is always a plus. It was a pleasure giving patronage to the northern Michigan airsoft community. Hope to see a lot you in the near future and if anybody finds my 5 shottie shells please let me know Dutch

My thanks to a;; those who made the journey to the OP!! It was the first one we ever hosted up here, and it gives us a baseline to move forward from! Next year, we will try to make it bigger and better!
As for the shottie shells... I didn't get a chance to look due to the darkness, but I shall go out and give the playing are a very thorough look! I should have Trauby go out and look for them... Since he is able to find a needle in a haystack!!
I didn't get a chance to view the video yet... But I will have it ready for publishing in the next couple of days!!
I'm still working on getting that weekend off of Drill!! I really want to be at the CQB event!!

Well, that was one event i will not forget. I am one of the Traverse City members and this was my first operation. Ususally, we just play with around 6 people... and to go to 40 or 60 (how ever many) was a huge step. It was a blast and my hats off to the people running it! I know on behalf of all the Traverse Citians, that we will look forward to further Ops. Thanks again -adanac

I'll be glad to help out Ryan by looking for the shotty shells!!! I have had good luck in the past finding crap, but I wouldn't say I can find a needle in a hay stack ;D
Loved the op, but I had more gun troubles than a person would ever want. Got a staple in one of my mags, then made its way into my gun causing a jam. Now a gotta tear it down since I've blown two fuses after removing it, yay!!! Also forgot my pistols during this op darnit!!!!
On a side note, I must say us locals got smoked. The local team had a lot more people, making it even more embarasing. First op, they had the objectives in less than 20 min., though we played for two hours. Heck, our whole team was practically wiped out in the first 15 minutes.

I really had a lot of fun at this event! The games were a blast and the field was pretty killer. I want to thank DD and MTASC/SBD for putting on the event and having us out there for such a fun time. It was great meeting a lot of the northern guys and talking between/after games with everyone. I hope some more events get put on up there (Though maybe after the snow's gone! ;D ) as I know I'd come back in a heartbeat.

Here are a selection of pictures I took from the event, mainly during the second, Attack and Defend games we played Saturday. A scenic panoramic picture, in the foreground (primarily) the defenders waiting while the attackers marched out in a "snakey" column. Gearing up and heading out Defensive team briefing Assaulters tactically wasting time Jacko's "best" combat pose Assault team finally moving after their time wasting phase Assaulters first contact Keeping overwatch (or why I'm staying the hell away from the shooting) Assault team approaching the clearing Jacko showing off his new and patented "honkieflage" Major taking aim at the oncoming assaulters A TC player (I believe) waiting to ambush Assaulters rushing Assaulters taking fire while Jacko sets to hike. Over Frostees shoulder Bill. . . Looking Xaos keeping cool in the midst of the action Talisman and Major dug in awaiting the charge Some of the TC players and Trauby observing enemy movements Talisman looking on while Major (the blur on the left hand side) gets killed The excellent defensive cover Defenders pinned down (whilst using my damned Macro focus)
