Time: Registration will start at about 12 noon.
Where: Area behind BlackMesa Airsoft Store. (Gaylord, Mi)

Info:
The registration/crono will begin at 12 and end about 1.
at about 1, the teams will devided.
Any kind of camo is allowed and we will be using MIA
FPS rules.

Story line: -Drug Bust-

two young mexican men have decided to recruit gang
members to help them smuggle drugs across the boreder.
Little do they know, border patrol has been watching
every step they take. During the day, a drug trade off
was supposed to happen in the middle of the woods,
away from any one and anywhere. The drugs were to be dropped
off at a specified location, and the money was to be picked up at
another. After the FBI was allerted of this trade off by a snitch,
they called in a local
Swat team to intercept them.

Swat objectives:
1: find drugs
2: Protect money
3: Capture the leader of the organization (TBD)
4: eliminate smugglers

Smugglers objectives:
1: drop off and protect drugs
2: Pick up money
3: protect leader
4: eliminate SWAT team


There will also be a clasic Team Death match game, a
Capture the flag game, and a hostige rescue game

The max amount of people at this time is ~65-70

I have been viewing this forum as a guest for several months now as well the Ohio forums and others. Until today I have not felt the need to post a single thing. But after reading about this event I got so upset that I just had to say something.

I am a 30 year old American-Mexican and can not believe the stereo-typing that you have put on as your event! I find the entire story line to be racist and tacky at best.

You say two young mexican men. Let's at least get the racist part of your sentence correct -- two young Mexican men. If you are going put down and stereo-type my nationality, at least do it with some honor and basic concept of grammar skills. (Captalization.)

Now let's move on to the drugs. Are you stating that all young Mexicans are involved in drugs and gangs? Why don't you just pigeon-hole us all in with border crossing...oh wait, I see you've done that as well.

Good job with the stereo-typing. I don't think you've forgotten to add anything except a small blurb about tacos or enchiladas...but there's always room to add that later, right?

You portray Mexicans in a very dim light. Talking about border patrols and such... did you ever stop to think that many Mexicans are just looking for a better way of life and are not running drugs and looking for gang members to recruit? (Let me guess, the swat team is all Anglo-Saxon, correct?) What's next from you guys, an airsoft scenerio where you perform a lynching?

I am not here to pick a fight with you but come on guys! In the future please take other peoples feelings into consideration. You never know who your customer will be -- or in this case...WON'T be.

I know that I am not going to be shoping with Black Mesa airsoft any time in the future, nor would I offer my business to any airsoft company who so blatantly takes a racist stance.

First off, I didn't put the story together. I'm just hosting the event. I do understand the frustration that you feel. But would it be okay to say that it was two Arab men toting around a breifcase full of Anthrax? Is that something you would agree with? That would be a little stereotypical also. I'll speak with Hado and the guy who put this story together and have it changed to remove any racial remarks that you (or anybody else) deem uneccesary.

Please accept my apology for this misunderstanding and hopefully you will come to one of our events or shop any one of the Michigan Retailers.

As for the age limit, I'm not sure. I know a bunch of people will only play at 18+ events, but I feel that would be leaving a bunch of players behind. If it is 15 or older, those under 18 will have to have a waiver signed by there parent/guardian, along with a copy of their Driver's License, on file before the event.

OK NOW GYPSY WILL HAVE HIS SAY AND EVERYONE KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT...........

1) Mexicans (note the proper grammar) come from Mexico! We are talking about an incursion from Mexico so it makes sense that those trying to bring the "product" (does that make you happy Kat or would you prefer we say it is a "dirty bomb") would probably be of Mexican decent beings how they would know the terrain and possible routes of entry into the US.
2) I am of Native American decent and I have never had any problems playing "Cowboys and Indians" or being either party in those games. There is nobody that I am aware of that plays this sport that are bigots.
3) If it will make everyone happy we can have a cookout that has the above-mentioned foods as well as have other foods to show we are "multicultural".
4) You try to make the case that we as players are bigots but then you type us as "Anglo-Saxons". What the hell is that all about? What credibility you might have made in your post was lost in that one sentence.
5) Border Patrols are for what? keeping the "Illegals" from coming across the border. If they are truly trying to make a better life, why not come thru the front door? That might be kind of harsh but that is life.
6) www.blackmesaairsoft.com is hosting this event. I again take exception to any suggestion that we are bigots. I personally could find better reasons to hate then something someone cannot change. Hating for color is like hating for wearing glasses. Oh wait.... while we all play we all wear glasses... I hate the bunch of you...
7) As far as age groups goes... we plan to offer the chance for "kids" to play with whomever will play with them. If there are those that will not play with the "kids" then we will have just "old fogies" groups.

LASTLY, I AM GONNA ASSURE ALL THOSE THINKING OF COMING TO THIS EVENT THAT WE WILL NOT BE RECUITING ANY OF OUR INDEGINOUS MEXICANS, LATINOS, INDIANS (BOTH ASIAIATIC OR NATIVE AMERICAN) NEGRO, COLORED, PEOPLE OF COLOR, BLACKS, ARAB, OR ALIENS OR ANY FASHION FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF ASSUALTING THEM!

One more thing...Canada borders michigan.We have no problems there.Border Patrol is exceptionally on high alert for Homeland security.If you ever seen the layout that customs and border patrol have on the southern texas border ud deficate.ie. Patrols ,Camera , Air ,satelight servaliance and ,motion detectors .
Obviously there is a problem if tax payers money is used to protect that border.To keep our homelands safe.

All that being said sounds like a good Op.Hopefully I will be able to make it .Look forward to meeting members face to face.

fine, how bout canadian men smuggleing drugs into the country............. there will be a preregistration form comming out soon. There is no age limit, and the price is 5 dollars for those who preregister and 10 dollars for those who haven't preregistered. . I will be starting a sign up sheet, so all those wishing to come send me a PM and i will add you to the list.

There will also be an Attack and Defend match,

Defence has to protect a base while assault has to sneak in and use the "c4" to blow up the base. more details to come

Our particular area we use would allow for a multi-level attack. We could also have a "Canadian" unit attempting to smuggle in poisoned beer! Oops I did it again . I think that the word filters are G A Y! Guess we are just what we are..... *cough* BULLSHIT *cough* just looking for a little fun.

We are a loose knit bunch up here in the sticks so I guess we can say just about anything can go
