Okay, tangent time:
I don't ever want to hear another under-aged player bitch, whine, or moan about games that are 18+. Ever. You guys had ample opportunity to attend events that had lower age limits and chose not to. Mandor went through the effort of arranging an event that was open to everybody and had to cancel it because not enough people could be bothered to register. Bill from 21CA opens himself up to massive liability on a regular basis so that younger players will have a chance to play, but a lot of people here would rather complain than attend.
And I don't want to hear your say, "but I don't have any way to get to Bill's field" because if that's the case, chances are you won't have any transportation to wherever Dutch is holding CQB ops either. Which means that all your complaining is pointless, because even if he did bend over backwards to try to allow you to play, you probably wouldn't come anyway.
If Dutch can manage to secure the insurance necessary to allow minors to play, I am positive that he will publicize that widely. Until then, give it a rest, because while I can't speak for all the other 18-and-over players here, I'm tired of hearing it.
End of rant.
Back on topic, I'd be all over winter CQB play. While I think that there were some problems with the Ionia property used last winter, I think that we did our best to work around them and still had lots of fun.
As for whether to charge a flat, one-time fee or a per-event basis, I'd say do both. For people who are willing to invest the whole thing up front, give them a discount. People paying at the door pay full price. E.g. it might cost $150 to pay in advance for all ten sessions, but it's $20 at the door. This way, people who can commit to the long haul get to save a little dough, while people who (for whatever reason) can only attend a few sessions don't get stuck paying for time that they won't use.
