Note that this event has no age restriction. For all you young guys who are eager to demonstrate both your maturity and your "mad skizzles," this is your chance.
You don't have to participate in all events, but you may participate in as many as you like/have equipment for. Also, if you want to enter the courses with a springer pistol or rifle, that's perfectly acceptable. Your times may not be as good, but if you're smooth and accurate, you may just put some of the guys with $500 Western Arms race pistols to shame.

if it is only target shooting why such a high price? Field rental, target construction, awards for winners, and the chance to get to meet a whole lot of your fellow airsofters.

The main expense is the field rental. I'm basically shutting this guy down on a Saturday, where he could make 3x's the money selling paint to the paintballers, cause he's interested in airsoft. I really don't want to charge the $20. but hafta to cover the field fees. Black sillouhette targets even with a LE discount are approx. .60 apiece. I need at least 50 if not more, if there's drizzle, wind, or for god's sakes SNOW!!! If i buy them online i still hafta pay shipping, paper's heavy, esp. targets. I want to have three plaques for prizes for Pistol, AEG, SNIPER catagories, in addition to some door prizes or raffles and such. I'm talking to retailers about donated prizes, but reading some of these events, it disturbs me that the donations are being taken for granted and expected even. Target frames, the cheapest i can make are about 10.00 each. I need at least 10.
The minimum i need to participate is 25. If we get more, trust me, we'll accomidate you. I won't even send out fliers to local pd's unless i get the minimum, 'cause i don't want to waste anyone's time. I want to use airsoft as an alternative to Simmunitions for a training aid. If i don't get the turnout i can't invite them, 'cause it'll look pretty sad.
As far as money, the sooner the better. I have recieved one reg fee so far, so 24 to go....

Additional news, 21CA has agreed to sponsor this event, so there will be additional goodies. He's said he's bringing the crew and will be doing upgrades, teardowns, and general overall fixes. If you can't make it across the state, here's your chance to meet him and his crew, (good people) and maybe get some work done on your gun. He's also bringing stuff to sell, so if you need bb's, gas, gbb's, etc. he'll have it for you.
