meekrob, next time for territory battle, we should probably put less of the experienced players all together on one team, and the lone rangers on another, I would have liked to see an hour-long struggle over territory, if not longer! But the hard line idea kicked ass i must say, for even larger ops. with more people, that type of game would be supreme Too bad I never used the shotgun , but i got it working again at least! Its got good spread, but its a little too "good" for woodland, if you know what i mean (as in it spreads WAY to much). Im a cqb man myself, but i took a fair amount of heads myself, so im satisfied I was glad to see the other teams there, LOM, SOCOM, and the Assassins! We all pulled together to make a GREAT blue team, and it was harmony! Until the assassins switched over for the last game, and one with an MP5 RIS with extended barrel let loose on my head right after I planned with a guy from SOCOM to move up Good job guys! P.S. I also won some excel bbs and a squeeze bottle for them so that was fun too!

the drive was not horrible, unless your a child... as you get older, time passes faster, and that 3 hr drive seemed more or less a small price to pay for a good day of airsoft

Kz i don't think your allowed to be that critical unless you've done an event on a weeks notice. Sure it could have been better, but it was pretty damn good for a weeks notice. And ya, i just took a nap on the way there. The trick is too just kind of squint your eyes til your tir... err the event was great ;D

*Double post*
I think the highlight of the day (Besides the raffle) Was the Reinforcement game. Let me explain. Blue team was winning the day with 4 games under its belt and the other team with 0. A reinforcement was set up so that the other team could not respawn until the 5 minute reinforcements came in, in the beginning, blue team wiped everyone out, and reclaimed our territory. Then the fun started. Down Kaliber and some members of LOM had set up a small little force on the left flank. deep in enemy territory, we waited for the 5 minutes to be up. With no warning, deep gun fire, I mean at least 30 guns started blazing. The war crys of the enemy were heard from a far. They charged valiantly. that game ended in the blue team slowly leaving the game because we had their small percentage of territory camped.

i didn't even know the point of that damn game. I mean it was entirly a waste of ammo, time and life.
The idea was for the NB(non blue) team to move two flags, to the other line(i think?). Anyway, each NB that was shot had to sit by the respawn point and wait for 10 min, to come back in.
Now as it seems like a cool idea the flaws are below: 1.) the other team had a respawn 2.) the other team just killed all the NB and surrounded the respawn waiting, for them to attack.
Now this is how the game should of been played out. Each blue meber that got shot, should of been dead. Out of that game. Then each NB that was shot, the first time should of went to sit by the respawn waiting. Then this would of been fair, and more realistic. Having the blue team respawn was a dumb and truly unrealistic idea for that game.
I mean i shot 4 people in the begining or so, before i died. Then they just respawned, and thier was no point. Except waste my ammo.
That game was a JOKE.

Hey, why don't you fuckers be a little more grateful you got to play at all and suck up the bad times? There was almost a fist fight at Blind Fury but we still had a good time.

The second game was kickass, i would think all of the blue team would agree. ;D
It was countinuous annihilation of the NB team. I mean i must of got aboot 20+ people out(after respawn). Literally i was aboot 40 ft away from the NB respawn point, on the far right. It was the best. My bro was aboot 10 ft in front of me. We were just annilhating the other team. It was wonderfull. I wish someone would of taped it.

(applause) now i think thats everyone who has insulted todd!
I liked it, i thought it kicked ass, one thing they never thought aboot is that NB never got the flags to the border after reinforcements, so the game ran aboot an hour and 45 min when it was originally told that it would be a 20 minute game... I ran out of ammo and reloaded once then went back in, the second time i ran out of ammo i just quit because it was terribly hot, we just ended up just pinning the other team down, and i ran out of ammo again... but that means its just my fault for not buying more high-caps ;D! but if that even went on again next week... id definitely go
and surely great planning in such a short time, i talk to bill and he said he and meekrob had to work their asses off to pull it together in time
but good job guys
EDIT: Todd, getting ten people out on a charge with a box mag and 400 fps on your p90, then immediately getting slaughtered, doesnt really "count"
i got an average of aboot 4.5 people out each game, i also talked to a guy from SOCOM with a sweet AK that said he counted and he killed 21 people and still didnt die in the third game... thats kick ass, and it was even better hearing the war story because he was non-chalantly leaning against a table while enjoying a cigarette... like some sort of hired gun

I personally loved the POW rescue. I have to say it was pretty amazing to take one one step beyond the enemies hard line and suddenly have over twenty men spraying full cover while i try to run to the main base. It was great how it all just came together and we extracted the POW's without major losses.

I can't wait to see the pics!!

i lost half of my selector switch in the pow game. As i was walking back, i saw Raken4 getting decked, hard. It was very, very funny to watch his own team level him.

First off, I want to thank all of you guys and gals that showed up for this event.
Second off, I want to thank you all for your patience. Things did not get started off exactly as planned but I wanted to let you all know your patience was immensely appreciated, thank you.
If we were to ignore the heat, humidity, the horrible DEET resistant mosquitoes, and the time allotted for planning this whole Op, I'd say the event did not have any major problems. We all got trough it and had some fun during the day.
I understand that some people feel that there were some issue that could have been done better. Guess what I would have to agree with you. We could have had this thing planned down to perfection but we did the best we could in the time we had. For the people that had issues with the op just ask yourself this question. Would you have had more fun being out in the woods playing airsoft with an awesome group of people or have had more fun watching the clouds pass by while sitting at home looking out your window? If the latter is the answer that you choose then I'm sorry for having wasted your time.
My favorite part of the op was watching the scenarios get played out. After we all had sat down and wrote out the scenarios, I thought I had a sense of things would play out during the different games. Man the players find interesting solutions to the different games. I would be walking around out there, doing the mod work, when one team would do something and the thought struck me "Huh, I didn't really think aboot doing it that way". So for me, it was really interesting watching the games get played out.
I wanted to thank the following people: Josh's Aunt and Uncle for providing us with some pretty sweet land to use. Josh, Brad, Jesse, and Chris for all the hard work in getting this thing running. We got it done guys! Bill, James, Deb, Jen, Jeff, Larry, and Sarah for providing and cooking the food, providing cool prizes, providing onsite tech support, and providing the store front. Rob from MiSection8 for planning assistance. Scott from SOCOM for operational assistance. Anyone else I happen to forget to mention.
Thanks to everyone that showed up and I hope everyone had some fun!
