It can dissolve the plastic, and will do bad things to your hop-up bucking. Don't use it on an airsoft gun.
Hunt down a can of 100% silicone lubricant spray. If you can't find any, RC shock oil will also work, get the lowest weight you can find.

I have a question... should I lube the barrel? Whenever I do that, the bb's fly around like...PSYCHO. It's kinda wierd. Also, should I just spray like, the whole inside of the slide or what?

AEG? if, a aeg then the hop up won't function for 100-300 shots, rough estaminate. They say a full high cap, so around thier. But, after that it should work fine.

When cleaning a pistol, you should lube every place where moving parts meet. All along the slide/frame interface, the hammer (assuming your pistol has one), selector switch/safety, etc. Lubing the barrel isn't necessary, but it does serve to clean it out. Use a cleaning rod and a small bit of cloth (NOT paper towel).
As tz said, the first couple hundred rounds after cleaning the barrel will be funny, until the lube is worn off the hop bucking. That's completely normal.
Also, be careful not to overlube. I usually go over the parts I've lubed up with a Q-tip once I'm finished, to pull away any extra lube hanging around.

ive found mainly get the trigger assembly, If you get I'm too lazy to spell a full word out. Please mock me. gas gun completely wet then dry it off, lube the barrel but then dont do too much for a day or so after lubing, then shoot a mag or so off, and every shot will get better. Atleast thats what i do
