does anybody know if the mac-10 electric is a good gun. I am only looking for a gun to play at a little airsoft arena and they do not allow big AEG's such as the tokyo marui, classic army. They allow spring, electric pistols, and minis. here's the specs on the mac 10
Cross Armory MAK-10 electric full auto sub-machine gun Holds 1000 round mag/feeder (mounts to top of gun) FULL AUTO - 500 RPM, under 200 FPS velocity low range Fires similar to a mini electric - no batteries needed! Includes FREE: rechargeable battery, charger, silencer, target, and folding stock! Heavyweight gun, some metal parts - 1:1 scale! Bigger than the M11 - This is not a mini - BIG GUN! Manufacturers warranty only. No returns or exchanges - all sales final - no warranty from Airsoft Atlanta Uses both .12-20 BBs

I'll let you decide. I'd much rather use a UHC of KWC springer.

It has no warranty, therefor, it is crap. Plain and simple.

Why not just go with a mini electric, they are cheap full auto and under the 200 fps range.

Yeah really. Why even play at that place.
If you really wanna, get two mini electric uzis.

It has no warranty, therefor, it is crap. Plain and simple. Er, the only airsoft guns I know of that come with any sort of warranty are Western Arms pistols.

Well, there's lots of springers that basically say "don't get these because they are made out of poop."
That's what he means by that.

Thanks for the input on the Mac-10 i figured it was just too good of a deal and i want a reliable gun. What it seems like to me is that most electric guns that are not AEG's are not very good.
Does anyone know about the UHC folding stock SD-3 MP5 spring gun. seems like a better deal even if it is a spring. Airsoft Atlanta loves it.
Here's the specs- UHC Made in Taiwan * With hopup function. * Uses .20 gram BBs only. * Ultra reliable, UHC quality. Not the same as the HFC gun above, but does have better shooting distance and range. Highly recommended! * Folding stock, and other options on it * Magazine holds 20 rounds * Extra magazines available *Chrono- 240 FPS with .20 gram bb's

One thing you likely noticed is that airsoftatlanta likes everything that you will pay them money for, including the wonderfull "shit on a stick" known to others as CYMA. None the less your best bet is to never trust a retailer review unless it's backed up by other reviews in other places. Redwolf did a few decent reviews though some of the things said were not perfect they weren't bad. So I guess if it's not a TM AEG find as many reviews as you can before you make a decision.

I'll sell you my UHC MP5. It's the strongest, most powerful, most reliable springer i've ever bought. If you're in the market for springers, this is the best gun you can get.

I have read some other revieds and it sounds like a good springer. We cant be using full auto AEG's in my neighborhood so we decided we might just get springers. I also figure that gas will be way too powerful to me spring sounds like the best deal.
so Petary i dont want to buy the gun from you but is it easy to cock and everything or is it a pain in the ass.

The UHC MP5 springer is a great gun for what it is. From the limitations you've described in what you can use to play I would highly recommend this gun. With the hop-up & extended barrel (silencer) it has good range & accuracy. And the placement of the cocking handle will allow fairly rapid fire with some practice.
