www.boomarms.com/sc/showcatalog.asp?CategoryLevel=2&Cat1=Battery&Cat2=&Cat3=&CategoryName=ANGSthose battery cases...I'm not exactly sure what you do with them, do they power only accessories? or are they like a alternative instead of putting batteries in the stocks or foregrips...and do you change the battery in the case...or do you have to buy a whole new case for another battery...dumb questions possibly, but I'm new and I'd rather ask than just assume...please give me as much info as these things as possible...I have searched the forum for "external batteries" and nothing came up...just thought I'd point that out incase someone was going to flame me for not searching...thanks

Yes they are an alternative to putting it in the stock/foregrip. Second you usually put your battery for your AEG not accessories (these dont actualy have a laser in them btw, but some do). Third you change them in the case, you do not buy a whole new one. But you must have some type of rail to mount them on(like RIS, SIR or RAS)
Also the reason "external batteries" didnt come up as these are usualy referred to as battery boxes on the M4 RIS and SR-16.
That should help

Those are external battery packs. they hold the battery for the gun. 8.4, 9.6, etc. when the battery dies you take it out of the case and charge it. it is another way to carry a battery (usually a larger batt. that comes stock) with out making major modifications to your gun. I heard there is no such thing as a stupid Question!
