What would be a good price for a upgraded ICS Version 3 MP5SD5? It has a M120 spring, oilless bushings, Systema gears, systema high speed high torque motor, one high cap, and 1800 mah battery

Here's how you figure out the price of a used gun:
Add up the cost of the gun and it's upgrades, divide by half, and then start adding money until you find a price that someone with a brain would consider high. Then haggle until you both reach a price you feel comfortable with.

Okay, price of gun + upgrades / 2. Set it that (Or the lowest he's willing to take, and be realistic), no reserve. I had to sell my $2200+ Custom Dark Angel on eBay for $900 bucks, so don't expect anywhere near what it's actually worth.

/me shrugs
Half of owning an AEG is tinkering...especially if you've got a customized weapon.
But...whatever...if you can't cope with simple machinery...

selling on ebay for somethings can be good thing for certain items. airsoft guns and other hobby things are not. most people who come to ebay come looking for a deal and only people who know what their looking for. or are looking for a m16, but don't want to bid on the one with tons of mods which they don't know what they are.

Contingent upon how relevant this thread is at the moment, my conservative guess upon the price of the package would be around 300-400 dollars (give or take of course)
The major detractor to any potential buyer is the fact it's an ICS. Regardless of what upgrades or version the replica is, the ICS name won't help the resale value (as opposed to a Marui) and in my opinion, rightfully so. Judging from your terse description, the "new" value of the entire thing would be close to 500-600 dollars, and obviously my estimation would be somewhat close to the "divide by half" postulation (further supporting that rule)

the gun has less than 5,000 rounds through it. so its pretty much brand new. its a SD5

If it's been fired, then it's no longer even close to brand new. Doesn't matter if it's 50 rounds or 50,000...it's still a used gun.
This, of course, is a buyer's point of view.
