Yes, the Marui replica AN/PEQ2 can be removed from the RIS system.

What would happen to the Battery?

You wouldn't have one, unless you modified your replica slightly.. The Laser unit is the battery box on the M4A1 RIS, removing the box would take out the battery. You can however, rewire the gun, and place the battery externally (as in a battery bag) or any other innumerable ways of attaching a battery (modified stocks, tape, etc)

In the stock battery box there is no lazer. It just holds the battery.
You can buy PEQ boxes that are made to hold larger battery's and have the ability to insert a certain laser in it.

Yes, but not stock. You're going to have to get one of the aftermarket collapsable stocks that allow you to put a battery in it. ( like this one www6.wargameclub.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=PRI-ACC-TMBSP1_cat_Stocks&PHPSESSID=6efab54a427e192633d592252f7da5ad ) That's probably the most expensive option, but the best looking and most functional You could also throw a battery bag on the stock. Some people don't like that look though. I myself don't mind it. Hell, i have it on my PDW. There is a ready mag system that allows you to house a battery in a hollowed out magazine that will ride next to the magwell. You need these things: www6.wargameclub.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=GP-MAG-RMS_srch_ready%20magwww6.wargameclub.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=SYO-96-1700RM_srch_ready%20magAnd a shell of a magazine. Get the cheapest M16 mag you can and gut it. A final option that will take more work would be to run the wires up a sling, and house the cells of the battery inside the sling. A shotgun sling with spaces for extra shells works well for this. It's probably pretty time consuming and you're going to have to do some soldering work yourself. Personally, I'd go with the battery bag if you don't have the money to throw around. If you do have the spare cash laying around, I'd go with the crane stock that holds a battery.
