they will be compatiable with most peoples unless there using cb's or somethin
those cover the major to civilian radio frequencys frs and grms grms is the newer longer range one

Not to mention that to use GMRS, you "need" the $75 dollar FCC license.
That auction looks to be a pretty good deal and Cobra radios (in my experience) are quite excellent in terms of durability.

The guy who is selling them states they have to put that you need an FCC license but also said noone ever gets one . If it came down to it and it was my a$$ on the line I would just pay for one. Just wanted to make sure I could use it with the other players talkies. Thanks again Jeff

You must mean, since you're using a public (proboards) forum which doesn't promote illegal activity and nothing which could be used later to establish wrongdoing, that as soon as possible you will file for an FCC license to appropriately use the GMRS system right? And yes, they should work.
