i have an MP5 RAS, and i wanted to experiement with sniping. so i looked online a long time ago for a cheap, non-top of the line sniper rifle, just to see how i like sniping, before i were to spend 400 dollars. i was looking heavily into the super pro 9. inexpensive and something to expiriment. so i saw one brand new at a gun show yesterday, and the guy dropped price from $70 to $50, so i bought it. now im trying to find the website with the info on it. i think it was an upgrade site i found a long time ago, but i saved it as a favorite on my old PC, so i dont have it on here. if someone could give me a link it would be greatly appreciated.
also, how would you go about attatching a sight to it. all it has is a little square thing on top. does it take a certain type? because i dont see how a scope ring could go on that, or any other scope. thank you.

Congratulations, you have wasted $50.
Research a potential purchase before laying down your cash next time.

I would attach a sight on it because the gun is not accurate enough for one. Next time, seach on these forums for info about the gun you are looking into and then you will find out all you need to know BEFORE you purchase it. In other words, do what xaos just said.

The Super 9 is a really nice, high quality stick. You can use that for a lot of stuff, like proping up a door, or hitting somone with it, u know, lots of stuff.

There is a lot more to sniping than sitting in one spot forever...

In airsoft sniping isnt exactly the same thing as you see in the movies. You cant just sit back and expect to get anybody out. There is a lot more into it than that..

If you just want a taste, slide the selector switch on your AEG to semi, and play like a sniper. You won't have the range a "real" sniper does, but you'll be able to get a feel for your duties as a sniper.
If you're dead set on buying a rifle, however, you really can't go wrong with the APS-2. It's the benchmark by which all other airsoft sniper rifles are judged at the moment. Also, note that there are very few rifles that are capable of actually performing as sniper weapons out of the box. Expect to spend 4-500 bucks for a good rifle.
