do you have to use TM bbs with a TM AEG? because i bought some .2g bbs that arent TM and am wondering if it is a big deal to use them. thanks

No, you don't have to. It is a good idea to run higher quality bbs through your AEG though. I'd go with TM, Excel, AE, or KSC, myself. I've always used excel and they've been great. Do put cheap bbs through your expensive AEG, you're accuracy will go to shit and it's not totally uncommon for them to jam and fuck something up.

I found that TM bb's break after hitting a target sometimes which isn't always a bad thing in the field. but i sometimes find misshaped bb's in almost all brands. i tend to stick with TM.

i use Stealth bbs. i think they are made by uhc. Ive shot 5000 threw my gun without any jams. there is a little lose of acc. but not enough from me not to use them again. not to mention i can get 5000 for 20 bucks.

First off, this thread is old, from march. Second, the question wasn't about bb quality and brand comparison, it was about whether or not you had to use a certain brand bb with a certain brand gun. Third, 20 bucks for 5000 crappy UHC bbs isn't a great deal. A bag of 3700 good bbs runs for about 12 bucks.
