Quick Question about an upgrade

i want to upgrade my stock MP5 RAS. internal wise, ive got a light and lazer sight already on it.anyways, im sorta new, and i wanna know if this spring will work for me, and if its easily intstalled. here is the link:

this is my first AEG, and i didnt know too much about keeping it in good condition, and i dry fired it a lot when i first got it, i dont know how much damage, if any it did, but if soemthing where to be damaged, how would i tell, and what would i need to replace it?

I'm not sure I would trust CA for springs just because with spotty CQ you could get some really varied results.

Now it really depends on how high you want to go, I can suggest 888 from Hawaii he sells prometheus products.

You could also stop in or visit the websites of our local Michigan retailers for simular pricing(well probably $20ish).

Now as I said above it's all about how high you want to go, myself I would consider an M100 off 888's site that would set you under 350 so you can still use your gun for CQB. It also should be a simple install with just metal bushings. Those can be found at the same link.

you guys are a lot of help, well while we're in the newb section, is there a website that shows the complete breakdown of an AEG, because the more i look into it, i really dont know what parts i would need if i bought the M100. hopefully i wouldnt need anythig BUT the M100. but just incase, what would i need to upgrade the gun with. for the breakdown of the gun, i mean what each part does, ect. like i said im new to AEG's and im still learning, and asking questions is the best way for me to do so. thanks again

As far as other parts you will need, as I said above you will need metal bushings and the spring.

Advice: Find someone willing to help you do the upgrade, and watch them do it. If you've no clue what you're doing, you could very well hurt your gun. If you're confident in your ability to figure it out and get it right, go right ahead.

well....its too bad, i dont live in wayne, im in oakland...so....im gonna try it myself, but if i break it down and dont feel confident, im not gonna mess with it, ill contact someone that will help. thainks again fellas
