Well I was gonna stop at like 500, but you know those support gunners...(?)
Well, let's say, a 5 hour game in the woods

thats a start, how many people in this game, will they be outfitted with AEG's, will it be during daylight,
It would be somewhat safe to say anyone would run through 500 rounds in a 5 hour game given that they had that amount of ammo in their mags etc

In 5 hours with ~20 people on an adequately sized piece of land...I'd probably dump right around 500 rounds.

I usually use between 1-3 standards per "round"... usually a few more if its over a longer distance/mucho brush in way. i usually do pretty well... marksmanship wise... so i tend to err on the low end. Ignore Jacko and his ploys to discredit my riflemanship. i was merely distracting him so Gary could kill him. yeah. thats what i was doing...

I probably shoot 500+ in a long day of play. I think I've played 3-4 times since I got the 249 and I've only filled it once, but it was empty this weekend at the end (As I found out as Munin shot me in the face!).

1000+ in Winter games otherwise I would say 500+ in summer.

Most likely, i would use less than 100 rounds in a summer game..... But then again, I am using a bolt action

Luke: Why more in the winter versus the summer?

In wooded enviorments without leaves it makes for a lot longer engagements which means the BB is going slow enough that you miss much more. Not to mention accuracy at that distance. In summer you move around a brush pile and your on top of someone, right now I haven't been surprised by someone in a couple months.
