Operation: Key to the City
The event will officially begin at 09:00 on Saturday July 24th, but you
should be there by 08:00 to register. Games will span a variety of scenarios
but will be mostly aimed at the SWAT genre. More info can be found at

Safety Information
Will fallow all AOL rules. The scenario's focus on CQB so make note of
surrender rulers, MED, and full seal goggles are suggested.
Medic/Respawn Information
Games will not use a medic. Either respawn or out depending on game.
Uniform Information
This isn't an extremely formal game so uniforms are not required. However,
the event is focussed on SWAT vs. Terrorist so dress for the part you want
to play. Bringing a second set if you have them couldn't hurt.
The day will focus mostly on CQB SWAT style play. There will also be games
that are more woods than just CQB do still come even if fighting in the
buidlings isn't your favorite.
Scenario's
1. A hostage scenario. A balloon or similar, or a few, will be attached in a
building that the terrorists hold. The object will be for a SWAT force to
regain the building without breaking the balloons. The terrorists would have
to be honest and not just shoot them themselves for this to work. I think
this would force an accuracy to people's shooting instead of just firing a
cloud of bb's. I'll try to do some testing to see if a balloon would work in
this case and if not I'll come up with something else.
2. Sniper scenario. This might end up being a very quick game but with some
good snipers this may last quite awhile. 1-3 (possibly more) Snipers would
be in a prime shooting building. Everyone else would have to take them out.
Snipers should carry a secondary weapon for close quarters since their guns
are too hot. Snipers will almost surely die but would a few people with bolt
actions taking out 50 with full auto really be losing that much for the
snipers? Who knows, snipers might end up taking you all out.
3. SWAT training competition. If anyone has seen the movie SWAT, it would be
similar to their side by side training early in the movie. I've seen video
of airsofters doing this and it seemed to work well with a little prep work.
Any of the open fields would work. I'd make a few paper target holders and
players would have to race eachother through the course while remaining
accurate. I'd be willing to front enough for prizes for winners such as a
bag of bb's or something in that price. If a company wishs to donate a price
that would be appreciated.
4. VIP escort. One person would be chosen as the VIP and would carry a GBB.
A small elite team (1/4 total players or less) would have to escort the VIP
between two predefined locations. Since the small team would have virtually
no chance trying to simply kill everyone else they must move quickly while
watching not to run into the enemy. If the scenario is liked we may rotate
the players of the small team so each person is on it once. For those of you
who remember how "Hondo" transported the president back in the day, it might
be a good tactic.
5. BHD Rescue. A Delta team (1/3 total players) will have to get to a
specified location where the package awaits (a bag that is heavy but nothing
enough to hurt your back). Once they arrive on location they must give cover
for 5 minutes "while the package is cut from the damanged Helo". There will
be a cheap stop watch attached to the package to keep track, start it when
you reach the package. After 5 minutes have passed two people must carry the
package back to the starting point while the rest provide support.
6. Who shot me? This game will be a basic game at first. Teams will have
roughly the same numbers. The objective will be simple; wipe out the other
team. There will be a twist to it that you'll discover durring play
