No one should make any remarks about any gun you own. If you like it then thats what really makes the difference.

Not quite T.C. here, but myself, Talisman, Trauby, and a few other guys play in the Gaylord area. I think I remember *someone* being from Traverse...just can't remember who

Luke-
The last time i asked something and mentioned my gun, everyone started to say it sucks and to buy a different one, so sorry if i presumed you guys were like that too.

Well you shouldn't get that here, as really it's personal choice as to what loadout you have. I was by no means saying anything that you should be sorry for. Everyone seems to like to say get what you like, me included as all TM guns shoot the same(more less). Now with that statement in mind the people who say "your gun sucks, buy another one" are just asshats. It's all about what you like, and personally I like the FAMAS, but in reality I can't think of a gun I really haven't liked:) Luke P.S. Yes that includes all the bullpups and the UZI etc...

My only problem with the FAMAS is the same as my problem with the Uzi - quality. Since it's an earlier design, it suffers from some problems that newer models do not (a preponderance of plastic parts, poorly laid-out interior, etc).
But I agree with Luke, if you like it, go for it.

Well I have to slightly disagree Munin, while it is an earlier design and may have all the faults you listed, almost every TM gun has a short list of faults, such as M16 barrel wobble. Some easier to cure than others, but pretty much when it comes to airsoft any gun will have it's little qwerks.

"Bill" is a member of the boards, that I know lives in Traverse City (judging from his profile), as well as Spectre (whom is at MTU currently I believe). You could probably PM either of them, to get an idea of what the gaming is like in the area.

I have a cottage up in TC on old Mission Peninsula, and i know we had a team at one point called NATF, but that kinda died out as a bunch of people went onto the marines and college and such . Jackstraw was the other big one along with Spectre that play up in TC from time to time. Im up there occasionally and try to get a game organzied before i go but people are always away or have other stuff to do, like Jackstraw is really busy with soccer nd such. However, ill drop ya a line and try to organize something if you are interested when i head on up that way .
