Yeah Munin I get what you are saying definatley. I would advance and watch so many people sitting back and I thought, how the hell are we going to win if they don't move in since time isn't on our side. I ran through the side door and was the first one inside and although the mission was a success and only one of our inside guys died my biggest handicap was friendly fire. Since I conviently forgot my radio My team sprayed my location even after they saw me move in so I was pinned down by my own buys. I have nothing else to say. But yeah, the biggest thing in CQB I am noticing people camping with is entry. People charge and get right up to the barn but very few would actually enter in with me. But to those who did go in with me you all obviously are vets and know these principles as well since those who entered in on my team saw that we had only one man down and completed a 20 minute mission in 5 minutes that wasn't yet beaten. Munin I believe you were with me on that game and I must say we did haul ass inside that game.

I don't think I was with you for that game. I think that was the game where SK86 nailed me up close and personal with his MK1 sniper (no hard feelings, SK, just be more careful about engagement distances next time) as I was coming in through that door on the northeast corner.
In one game (the one pictured above) I had secured the entrance on the northwest corner, but the remnants of my team were having a hard time pushing in through the double doors on the west wall. I managed to eliminate three defenders, but it doesn't take many people to set up vicious crossfires in the barn. And the only backup I had was Pinkie, who was totally gung ho and good to go, but whose G36 was on the fritz.
CQB is a scary environment even if you've done it before. For new people who have no experience at it, it's extremely daunting. And if you're trying to push in through multiple doorways you need very good C3 capabilities in order to minimize friendly fire or friendly suppression (as happened to you during the bomb game).

Thats was BFT's AK and I apologize on SOCOM's behalf but actually there is no rule on that gun since its just shy of 350 its legal indoors. Yeah its got a wicked punch to it though. I hate that damn gun though because its so quiet you have to see the BB's since chances are you wont hear it.*shakes fist at BFT, WHY!*

ya i will be sure to watch those limits, next time ill use my shotgun. i did some unorthadox modifications to it, so it shoots harder (about 270fps compared to older 230), now i will feel safer wit it.

Just for the record, it's not like I was aiming for your radio, and I think a stock gun would have done the same thing to it ;D

that is very true. LCD screens are not very durable. Its a chance you take in the game, and it took a turn for the worse for you thats all. But I do want to state again his AK is chronoed and is more than legal for indoor/ outdoor usage. Besides up close any gun hurts like hell.

Im not really afraid of getting hit, probably because the guns i play with are springers and you dont even feel them until you are four feet away. My friend with a shotgun is a pansy. He sits at a big tree all day and waits for us to come after him, i try to flank him but he just pivots around the tree. Any ideas? Is there a tactics post on this board anywhere? if not then... hey Hado...? EDIT: oh and hey, what does CQB mean (im really showing my true colors now... )

Try cordinating your attack... Is the tree by anything that could be used for cover? Do you have a picknic (sp ) table. If so get 2 guys to carry the table as a riot sheild ;D and have 1 guy behind it shooting. Thats the last ditch effort right there, If not then have all I'm too lazy to spell a full word out. Please mock me. guys charge at the same time and circle him, That may work. *edit* CQB = Close Quarters Battle
Thanks SilentK86 ! */edit*

I would flank him, one on each side, but theres a problem, its one on one on one, so its like, i take out one guy and then go after the other, or wait for them to take eachother out. I cant put the pressure on him, i cant put much fire on him with my springer with a 14 round clip, and only one! ahh!

dont u mean CQB: close quarters battle?
not-me-silent: run in zig-zags towards him, if all he has is a springer, then it wont be that hard, i do that all the time when im playin with my friends.

I've been in situations where my other teammates were frightened and didn't want to move. The leader (me) was left without people to lead.
My solo advance on the flag will go down as "destrukto's last stand"
;D
