woodland = anywhere between $40-60 a set
Flecktarn = $10-20 a set depending on what size BDUs you wear
This op is simulating an event in EUROPE, not the US. Flecktarn is the cheapest European camo available, hence why they chose it. You can never have too much camo anyways, it's like too much ammo, it's just not possible. I do have a set of Flecktarn and it's just as good if not better than my woodland gear. Flecktarn kicks ass (where do you think they got the inspiration for digicamo from)
If you don't like the rules, don't go, plain and simple.

had a great time yesterday in spite of the early rain(sleet, snow , thunder,fog..ect...) which eventually turned to sunny and 60 degrees! typical first day o' spring in michigan! thanks to simon (again!) for allowing us to take over the property.the new area (additional acreage) was excellant for airsoft, nothing like a huge pine forest when it's wet out!! the food was good and the handgun war around the house while we waited for lunch was a hoot too! tired and sore today so i must have had fun!!

only about 12 of us, super.k. some guys were not into the weather i guess. maybe they don't make poncho's in alpenflage or fleck??? still had a good time for a smaller group, the main sceanerio started just after 9am and went until noon, we took a lunch break and everyone but me geared back up for another round with roles reversed. i had to leave to meet the guy who is going to do some dozer work so i probably missed another round of looting and shooting!!!

Last half of the day was great - a 180 degree change in weather - sunny in the 50's!! Lots of running - hiking - flanking - if you're into the get-yourself-into-shape mood, I know of no better way to burn calories than taking high ground with a M60 and taking out those swift assualters on my heels. Pistol wars were a great change/break in the day from the longer scenarios - thanks to Gabe's idea Hope to see more of you in the future.
