What Jacko said =)
Really the only reason that I semi-like the AK is the 600 round hi-cap... It's basically our mini-SAW ;p Other'n that... There really shouldnt be too much of a difference. If you like the sleek lines of an M-16, get it! If you like the semi-beat-up look of the AK, then get it! Or buy both ;p

It's a great little gun, that's for sure. The build quality is amazing, it's just rock solid. No creaks or rattles at all. I use mine for indoors, and it definitely fulfills my requirements (High ROF, small size, easy to sight) for an indoor, CQB weapon. Outdoors, it could be a real menace if for nothing else than it's high hi-cap capacity (470 rounds) and Version 3 gearbox, which is considered the best gearbox from TM, and thus one that can take some high-power upgrades. Plus, with the K or G36E kits, you can fit some huge (huge like a 10.8v, 1500mah for the full-length kit) batteries into the gun.
Though an AK beats the hi-cap cpacity and also has a V3, the G36 offers a little bit of a more 'tactical' advantage with all the rail space. But that's just my opinion and I'm sure some would bring up other pros and cons.

Please Please Please read the Newbie FAQ. It was written and posted for just this reason. It's the top thread in the Newbie section (the section to which i moved a couple of your threads).
This question can't be answered. The M16a2 isn't any better than the AK isn't any better than the G36 isn't any better than a G3. Buy what looks cool.
And because this question can't be answered the way you want it to (although it's answered magnificently in the Newbie FAQ), I'm locking this thread.
