Okay, Just got my BAR 10 out and was doing some shooting. This thing is heavily upgraded with all the laylax parts. I have a prometheus .03 barrel the purple nineball bucking 170 spring, yada, yada, yada. I love the gun, I love it. However the thing hooks to the right something awful. It is the same everytime, so its not the bbs. I have some KSC .3, I have the FC .3, and some TSD .28. They all do the same thing. I thought I had it figured out that the barrel was turned a little or something, but if it is I can't tell. I put a couple of extra barrel spacers on the inner barrel for support, (crimson from the other forum said that might work) Anyways, I am at a lose. Any ideas?

If your hop bucking is applying more force to one side of the BB it would cause spin about a non-horizontal axis which would lead to a hook. Is the nib that applies force to the hop bucking material applying the load equally across the opening in the barrel?
Sometimes the hop-up looks like it's at top dead center of the barrel, but it's not. I've had to rotate a barrel a couple of degrees to make it fly true.
Too slow or too fast a rotation can sometimes look like a hook.
A burr at the end of the barrel can cause drag which will change the axis of rotation, leading to a hook. A flat spot in any part of the barrel can also cause drag.

I had the same problem with my CA and it turned out to be the bucking. Frostee is 100% dead on right.

It's a common problem with the VSR series, I noticed that with heavier BBs the effect isn't so great. Also, try using a pen as a nubbin, I am using that right now and it works great with .36s.
