Hello I am going to be upgrading my ksc glocks to run on green gas, does the HURRICANE upgrade kit do it? Upgrades are for ksc glock 19 and 18c
Its the upgrade on Guns N Guys Under HandGun Parts Than in HURRICANE
Thanks

KSC guns are intended to feed off green gas, no need to upgread.

a hi-flow valve gives a power boost per shot...but reduces the overal capacity of the magazine.

I would say you really dont need that unless u are planning to put on a metal slide.

Well I would say plastic KSC are intended for 134a and cycle quite well on it(KWA's with metal kits are another issue). I personally choose to run green gas through mine. But as far as upgrades the most common for a KSC would be a metal slide, but you also might consider a tougher recoil spring at that point. Then from there most of the other upgrades are BS, most people don't care to toss in highflow's because you need one in each mag, and most of the other upgrades are such small increases that it's just not worth the bother nor the price.
If I were to "upgrade" a stock KSC I would probably just toss a metal slide on it, and start running green gas. You *can* run green gas stock though you may have problems with it over time and you will decrease the life span of the gun. You may notice your slide rails will start getting looser to the point where your plastic slide *could* pop off with the proper amount of force applied. This is a good sign it's time to go to a metal slide, personally I would just run it till something starts getting rough then upgrade to metal.

I wouldn't even bother with that. I've had my G26C since about a month after they were released. (Beat Minky and Hado to it. ) It's a very very reliable handgun... super fast firing. it fires just slightly slower than my Mac-11 did...i'd say just around 1000 rounds per minute. I've never...never had a problem with my Glock. Its cycled reliabily in all conditions... very accurate. You add on a metal slide, you do get more realism in weight, sound... but you do take a rate of fire hit due to the increased weight. but upgrades? if it aint broke...don't fix it.

For those looking at this post, since for some reason, gas guns seem to cost about the same in japan, and the US I chose to get my G18C from www.airsoftatlanta.comIt comes with a metal slide and barrel, and id suggest getting an extra mag for full auto fun... but its KWA, which is the same as KSC with no trademarks but that doesnt really matter on a pistol, considering your hand covers most of them, and.... i just really dont care (just trying to help!) ;D oh and the guy at gibralter in the front will INSTALL a hurricane valve in each mag for only $10 !!!!! and if you plan on getting hurricane valves, id suggest a guarder metal recoil guide and spring for extra durability (a plastic one will snap! )
