I'm looking for a good reliable sidearm to compliment my sniper rifle at close range. Do you guys know of any somewhat cheap pistol that can preform at close range?

ok look in my very opinion (being a sniper). i think as a sniper I'm too lazy to spell a full word out. Please mock me. gonna get into some serious jams at times at really close range. so for that I'm too lazy to spell a full word out. Please mock me. gonna need sometihng that packs a hell of a punch. but at the same time I'm too lazy to spell a full word out. Please mock me. gonna need something small that doesnt get in I'm too lazy to spell a full word out. Please mock me. way or hinder u at all. for a combination of both small and powerful I'm too lazy to spell a full word out. Please mock me. gonna need something like the ksc glock 26C. it is one of the smallest gbbs on themarket, it has full auto and semi auto, and the best thing about it, is you can use any mag from any glock made by ksc, which means the very pimpin glock 26 mag and the 49 round hicap glock 18c mag, plus ksc makes one of the most reliable gbbs on the market so u know itll last.

Thanks for the help. A new shiny gas gun should replace my $20 springer quite nicely.

I concur, at $99 shipped from www.uncompany.com you just can't go wrong with a KSC Glock 19.

I must concur win berettaz on the KSC g26c, as you will crawling around you will want something nice and small, 26 is the smalles glock out there, and the c give you full auto if you need it. Mine is upgraded with metal slide/barrel, higf flow valve and all those goodies. It is accurate even with such a short barrel, and as said before it can use ANY KSC glock mag. I have only have experience with the 26{c} and 18, and think the 26{c} was/is better but really any KSC glock would be a good choice, still want my 1911 though

Look in to the KSC Beretta 93rII
Relatively cheap, semi-triburst-auto, and very solid with a realistic kick.

r u kidding me Ballista, relatively cheap, define relatively cheap, the damn things around like 175-200 and its as big as a mother. No i think u should go with either the KSC glock 19 or 26c in my opinion 26c because it has same feat same reliability, is smaller, and u can get it from cobraairsoft.com shipped in original package for a 100 dollars, plus it has most expandibility with mags. it all depends on what style gun u prefer it u like the glock 19' look better than get that, if u like 26c then get that they are both small even though 26c is samller but same BASIC features.(definitely dont get m93rII

berettaz: Please do not use "u" as a replacement for "you" etc. Try to speak in relativly clear sentences.
As far as a nice backup I have to agree with the KWA/KSC Glock 19. But really I would say it's more less what you like and feel comfortable. Frame size isn't a huge concern I would be more than willing to run a 1911 or anything else. Get what you like.

berretaz,
That's the KSC M93r 2 that is around 175-200. The KSC M93r II (The newer model) can be had around 115 for the taiwanese version or 130-140 for the japanese version. KSC decided to screw up their numbering system calling their very first version M93R 2, followed up shortly by the M93R 1, and then re-released in a much better and much ceaper form as the M93R II. Now what's even more confusing is that some sites (www.airsoftshop.com is the one that i know that does it, but i wouldn't be suprised if more do it) list them as M39R II for the M39R 2, M39R I for the M39R 1, and M39R 2 for the M39R II (the newer version). It seems like Airsoftshop called the first two versions by roman numerals when they shouldn't have and had to call the third version by arabic numberals to cover up. So watch out for that.
And I second Ballista's reccomendation. The KSC M93R II is a great gun for the money. Big magazine, good power and accuracy, and shoots a lot of bbs really quickly if you need it to.

I'd say that the M93r II and full auto KSC glocks have very comperable rates of fire. Not different enough to notice on the field. And the glocks don't have three round burst, a feature that i find very convinient.
The problem that I have with the glock 26c is that it's too damn small. When a compact pistol is the way to go, a glock 19, or USP compact would fit the bill. The 26 and 26c fit the bill of a sub-compact gun, really designed for concealment, which is rediculous in airsoft since everybody knows you've got a gun. I can fit two fingers on the grip, and that's not comfortable for me to hold. I don't have large hands by any means, either. I have the smallest hands of all the men in my family (despite being the tallest - go figure).
As for Luke's criticizm of your "u" for "you," he's right. Don't substitute "u" for "you," "r" for "are," "2" for "to" or "too," or the like. You get the idea. Type out full words. If you don't take the time to type out a full post, why should we take the time to read it? You'll come off as much more intelligent and may actually be taken seriously. Plus, it's in the rules (second forum section down).

I love my M93R II. Yes, it's big, heavy, and mean looking. 3-round burst is nice to have...I'm of the opinion that full-auto is wasted on a pistol. I'd say full-auto ROF is approximately the same as a KSC G18C, but considerably lower than a 26C (the 26C will empty a mag *fast*).
Like Knief said, the 26C is tiny. It's smaller than it looks in pictures, even.
As for an honest-to-god sniper backup, I'd probably just spend the extra cash and pick up an MP5K. Small enough to carry comfortably alongside a rifle, but full-on AEG ROF and mag capacity, plus it's got the bonus value of being a very worthwhile gun for CQB...and unlike most pistols, if you get into a position where you can't really use your sniper rifle, you'll still stand a chance against other AEGs.
