They recently released the bottom receiver kit for the KSC M93r Berreta. How absolutely badass. I'm gonna get both metal receivers for christmas and I was wondering if anyone knows how to expertly install metal kits as such. I don't want to have a broken ass gun because I was too excited and botched the install.
Also... because there are so many versions of the gun... I was wondering if someone knew if the bottom receiver was exclusive to a specific version.

I know the 93rII, which is the latest version, has a totally redesigned firing mechanism among other things; I'm not sure if this is reflected in the frame design. (the M93r houses part of its mechanism outside the frame, covered by its right grip piece)

Heh. That's gonna be one heavy piece. The 93R II is a heavy gun in plastic, can't imagine what it'd be like with a metal slide and frame. I've a feeling I wouldn't want to holster it all day though.
Anyhow, on to useful info. I'd recommend shooting an e-mail to UN Company, assuming they stock both parts. They're very good about providing accurate answers to any questions you might have, and in a speedy manner too. I do know that some (all? not sure) of the metal slide kits prevent you from utilising the 3-round burst function of the 93R...one of it's best features, IMHO.

UN Company can definately help you with whether they parts will be compatible with your gun. They've helped me with such questions previously. As for installation maybe send it to WTS? For more info. check your PMs.
Hope that helps

I just did an install of a Zeke full metal body on my TM Beretta 92FS. It wasn't too bad, though I did have to do some filing and finagling to get everything to fit right. I'd imagine that this kit would be similar. PM me if you want help with the install.

cool... my main worry now is what top rec matches the color of the bottom rec. I'll have to ask Den I guess, unless someone knows off hand.

I'll have pictures this week of my new full metal baby... What was the total cost? The 93r is one of my favorite guns, I'd be interested to hear your experiences with an all-metal version.
