Operation: Harvest Moon (Illinois)

Central Illinois Airsoft will be hosting a 14 hour Mil-Sim event on October 20th from 10am till midnight. The event will take place on a tract of privately owned ground west of Lincoln, Illinois. The event will consist of several mini scenarieos all revolving around central theme.

This will be a NO-ENTRY-FEE game.

Eye protection manditory

Free over night camping

Food and Hotels five min. away.

No age limit

Brad of Central Illinois Airsoft just informed me they have over 30 people interested in the event and 22 commited to playing!

/me wants to go play there!  Dang it, who would take me to Chicago *head swivel*.  Anyone?  Nah, I'm just kidding, but it would be sweet to play in my first Airsoft skirmish there (except for one springer match, laf)

I was at Harvest Moon this weekend, but it was far more depressing than expected. It was mostly just the CIA regulars, about 12 guys at most. I guess the other teams/players decided not to show up. Still, it was a lot of fun and there was plenty of time. It was supposed to be camping, but it was not really. Since only CIA members showed up, everyone lived mostly close by. I brought my tent but ended up sleeping at my friends apartment. lots of shooting (12 hours) made up for it though. We had hotdogs (wieners for the funny southererners) and a few of the guys had their wives and kids come for a while. Not to play, just to arrange food.
